Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ToHuman overview
What is ToHuman?
ToHuman is an AI text humanization platform that converts machine-generated content into natural, human-sounding writing through a REST API endpoint. The technology processes text from AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini and rewrites content to eliminate robotic patterns so that the output reads as if authored by a person. The service is designed for environments where programmatic text humanization is required.
The platform serves developers, content teams, marketing agencies, education technology providers, and software as a service companies that need scalable text humanization capabilities. The software operates on a self-hosted, fine-tuned language model that functions independently of third-party AI providers to ensure content privacy and data security. A free tier offers two thousand five hundred humanized words per month and paid plans are available for higher volume requirements.
An API-first architecture accepts standard HTTP POST requests with JSON payloads and Bearer token authentication, enabling integration with any programming language or framework capable of making HTTP calls. Four configurable intensity levels—minimal, subtle, medium, and heavy—allow users to control the degree of transformation applied to the original text. The model restructures sentence patterns, adjusts rhythm and cadence, and varies vocabulary choices rather than relying solely on synonym substitution. Requests are processed through serverless GPU infrastructure with typical response times of three to five seconds and initial cold-start requests may require up to sixty seconds. Webhook functionality provides real-time notifications for humanization completion or failure, and a web-based dashboard enables API key management, humanization history tracking, and usage monitoring. Both synchronous and asynchronous processing modes are supported, with synchronous calls returning results directly in the API response.
Comprehensive documentation includes implementation guides and code examples in cURL, Python, Node js, and Ruby that demonstrate authentication methods, request formatting, and response handling. Native integration support is provided for n eight n workflow automation, Make com scenarios, Zapier pipelines, LangChain agent frameworks, CrewAI multi-agent systems, Microsoft AutoGen content pipelines, and Model Context Protocol servers for Claude Desktop and Cursor. All text processing occurs on company-controlled infrastructure without routing content through external AI services. Submitted content is processed and returned without being stored beyond the requirements of humanization history records and is never used for model training. All operations remain within a controlled environment to provide content security assurances for sensitive or proprietary text.
