Tymeline overview

What is Tymeline?

Tymeline is an always-on program execution platform built for semiconductor, equipment, foundry, OSAT, and silicon-services organizations. It ingests data from EDA tools, Jira, source control, test floor systems, ERP, PLM, foundry email, and supplier email to hold every milestone — RTL freeze, verification closure, timing closure, tape-out, samples, and qualification — to a single date with a named owner and attached evidence. When any commitment moves, Tymeline raises the alarm within the hour, calculates downstream impact across chip, firmware, equipment, and qualification programs, and surfaces a proposed recovery for human approval. The platform is available as cloud SaaS (live in approximately two weeks), customer VPC deployment (two to three weeks), or air-gapped on-premises via Patrick (four to six weeks), which supports ITAR programs with on-device inference, a local audit chain, and sealed tamper-resistant hardware.

Tymeline operates through a set of named AI Employees — Aria for RTL, Vela for verification, Sora for firmware and integration, Phin for physical design, Dax for DFT, Ana for analog and mixed-signal, Mira for VIP and methodology, Pax for packaging, Posi for post-silicon, and Orin for program operations — each assigned a fixed identity in the customer's identity provider with scoped credentials per program and tool. Kendrel, the platform's reasoning and orchestration layer, models multiple recovery options against the real plan, quantifies impact, and prepares decision packets for human approval. Via, a conversational interface, lets stakeholders query live program state and approve or reject fixes within the same thread. Every agent action and decision is cryptographically signed, blockchain-anchored through Tymeline ID, and exportable to SIEM platforms including Splunk, Sentinel, and Chronicle. Customers define an authority envelope that specifies what the platform may do autonomously, what requires a named approver, and what it may never do. Program data is never used to train a model outside the customer's tenant, and the platform is aligned to NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001-ready.

Tymeline's causal memory layer records what drifted, why, what recovery was applied, who approved it, and whether it worked — carrying that institutional knowledge forward into subsequent programs. Existing engineering rituals such as stand-ups, design reviews, change boards, and tape-out gates remain unchanged; Tymeline assembles the packets before the meeting so decisions stay with humans. Target roles include VP Engineering, CTO, CIO, Program and PMO leads, CISOs, and Site Heads across fabless and IDM chip teams, firmware and software teams, semiconductor equipment and subsystem makers, and qualification and ramp operations.
