Unomed Cloud PACS is a browser-based, zero-footprint cloud PACS for storing, viewing, and sharing DICOM medical imaging studies. Hosted exclusively in certified Swiss data centres, it requires no local installation, hardware, or IT infrastructure. DICOM studies from connected imaging devices (X-ray, ultrasound, CBCT) are received automatically via Cloud Connector. The platform integrates with existing practice information systems (PIS) and hospital information systems (KIS/HIS) via FHIR and HL7 interfaces, supporting workflows across solo practices, group practices, hospitals, radiology institutes, orthopaedic, dental, sports medicine, and veterinary practices in the Swiss healthcare market.

Unomed Cloud PACS offers a choice of DICOM viewers, including an advanced viewer with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D rendering, accessible via browser on PC, tablet, and mobile, as well as iOS and Android apps. Studies can be shared securely with colleagues or patients via Unomed Messenger or a guest portal link, with no recipient account required. AI-assisted patient matching (available on Advanced and Enterprise plans) automatically compares incoming DICOM studies against existing patient records and proposes the most probable match, with the user retaining final confirmation. Roles and permissions management, a DICOM anonymisation tool, internal and external imaging order workflows, and a Radiology Bridge module for connecting an existing institute PACS are also included.

The platform is compliant with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and GDPR, with end-to-end encryption for all data in transit and at rest. Automatic backups and updates are managed by the vendor. Pricing is tiered and storage-based, starting from CHF 19 per month on the PACS Lite plan with no setup fees on entry plans. On-premises backup and on-premises PACS options are available as add-ons on Advanced and Enterprise plans.
