Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

xyOps overview
What is xyOps?
xyOps is a next-generation workflow automation system that integrates job scheduling, monitoring, alerting and ticketing into a unified platform for infrastructure orchestration. Developed by PixlCore LLC, the software enables IT operations teams, DevOps engineers and system administrators to schedule jobs across server fleets, track performance metrics, configure alerts and manage incidents through a single interface. The platform supports deployments ranging from small fleets of five servers to large scale environments with thousands of worker servers. xyOps is distributed as an open source solution under the BSD three Clause license, providing organizations with centralized control over distributed computing environments.
The graphical workflow editor allows construction of automation pipelines by connecting events, triggers, actions and monitors through a visual interface. The editor supports conditional logic between multiple jobs, data and file passing between workflow steps and assignment of actions to events such as notifications or webhooks. Users can define limits for timeouts, memory usage and log size and choose to execute jobs in parallel or through custom queues. The scheduler extends traditional cron capabilities with multiple schedules per event, blackout ranges for planned downtime, crontab import compatibility and single shot job execution. Jobs can target individual servers or server groups and plugin based scheduler extensions enable further customization.
Active job tracking supports unlimited parallel execution with optional limits on concurrency and built in queuing. Real time progress updates include time remaining calculations and enforcement of CPU and memory usage constraints per job. The monitoring system provides server and group level dashboards with custom monitor and alert definitions. It tracks CPU, memory, network, disk and log metrics on a per job basis, executes custom commands to capture application specific metrics and maintains historical performance graphs from hourly to yearly timeframes. The alerting framework uses trigger expressions with flexible rules, delivers notifications via email, webhooks or custom channels and includes server snapshots in all alert messages. Alerts can automatically create tickets or trigger job execution and active alerts can be configured to prevent new jobs from launching. The integrated ticketing system supports incident response workflows by creating tickets from alerts and failed jobs, attaching files, executing jobs for continuous integration and deployment and offering full scriptability through the application programming interface. Plugin development is supported in any programming language via a simple JSON over STDIO API that requires no software development kit. The plugin API supports custom parameter definitions with user interface form fields and accommodates multiple plugin types including event, action, monitor and trigger.
The plugin marketplace provides access to official and community developed extensions for services such as Atlassian, AWS S three, Bluesky, Cloudinary, Discord, GitHub, Google Sheets, Linear, Mastodon, Notion, OpenAI, Pushover, Replicate, Slack, Telegram and Twilio. The marketplace supports addition of Model Context Protocol servers as plugins and enables publication of custom plugins. The platform architecture ensures scalability and redundancy through multiple hot backup configurations that maintain job continuity during primary server failover. It scales to accommodate thousands of worker servers in a cluster, supports manual and automatic server grouping based on hostname patterns and includes agent installation for macOS, Linux and Windows operating systems. The software is distributed under the BSD three Clause license with a commitment to maintaining open source availability and optional commercial support is offered separately.
