Users also mention inconsistent performance across browsers, high memory usage, and unresolved technical problems, which can hinder productivity and cause frustration during critical work.

It has a few different views (list, board and calendar) which is helpful for seeing what's on your plate and planning projects or campaigns spanning multiple days, weeks or months. When everyone on the team is using it, far fewer to-dos fall through the cracks, less deadlines are missed and people are aware of what they have to do and what's coming up next. If you're managing a project, you can break it down into subtasks, assign them, set due dates and track the progress.

Digital Marketing Manager

Some advanced reporting and automation features are only available on higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams with budget constraints.

Manager

The mobile app is extremely slow when attachments are large and basically unusable when you are trying to view both completed and active tasks simultaneously due to the filter settings. When I utilize the planning tool it creates duplicate tasks if I attempt to enter hours manually which then makes the entire list look like chaos and I have to go back and correct it.

Managing Director

Loving how I can catalog all my work and simultaneously look at the bigger picture of each program and see the entire scope of the project from start to finish!

Visa Consulting Specialist

I can't say enough about how Asana has brought order to our visa cases by managing deadlines, sharing tasks across the consulting team and otherwise helping me keep structure around complex client work without depending on a web of sticky notes or digital reminders.

Features like project timelines and task dependencies make it easier to manage multiple marketing initiatives at the same time.

It’s especially convenient when working with part-time staff - I can assign tasks, track progress, and keep everything organized without constant communication.

Project manager

Also, the transition between the list view and the timeline view can sometimes feel a bit clunky if you’re managing massive, multi-phase projects with tons of dependencies.

I like how Asana has made it easy for me to work together and collaborate with teams from the other departments which help us to have our operations running smoothly across all stages.
