The use of this software for more than 2 years has allowed me to exploit it in different branches such as data analysis where the data obtained can be appreciated from a more simplified point of view.
I find it a very intuitive software that simplifies processes and allows you to organize data quickly and easily through graphs, charts and trends. Being able to connect with Power BI, allows you to give more complete reports.
Asana does not have the same functions as a software specialized in data analysis, however for other uses such as project management in general it is very economical and fast.

For routine tasks that happen bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually, it's brilliant. Game changer.
So I've been trying to get into the Asana groove for over a year, and it just didn't really click until about two months ago. I was previously using it just for project mgmt, and frankly, think Excel is just as good for the small projects I work on usually. However, I recently saw how a peer used it for task oversight / mgmt for his team. Brilliant! I now use it with my direct report for just about everything that she's working on. If I need to jump in and handle something, then I'll check the task off, otherwise, I know exactly what is getting done when and that we won't miss any steps.
It's taken a long time for me to get into a rhythm with it. I'm on a small team, and we are the only ones using it. It's just not quite intuitive enough for me to make it easy from a sharing perspective. Easy enough for me as an individual user, but the power is in the sharing.

It is used company wide allowing every user to easily assign and keep track of tasks. Project management across our entire organisation is done via Asana. Overall, a great tool to manage things.
Project management is finely curated, keeping in mind the problems that users face. It allows one to easily assign tasks to another teammate, mange timelines of projects and see overall view using dashboards.
Voting structure can be improved. Also, the BI Charts look a little more primitive, a lot of work can be focused here as well.

The experience was great! We love the tool and the power it offers!
The software we used for recording work with getting and approving social media and it greatly improved our productivity with the program.
I think the biggest issue with it for us is cost. We are a non profit organization and for us that was a lot to pay for but we still loved the tool.

It was a positive experience and I wished more people used it.
It’s intuitive and yet there’s a lot of features for power users.
Sometimes sharing with outside clients was not easy.

We uses Asana to coordinate team member activities, schedules, commitments, and updates for the children's ministry at the church. We have been able to increase the motivated involvement of our volunteers and reduce miscommunication among the volunteers.
I enjoy the power of communicating updates, managing commitments, sending reminders and coordinating activities.
I don't have issues that make me like it less than I do.

Asana is overall an amazing PM Software, however, my favorite is the recently launched "Portfolios", amazing for updating your supervisors on where projects are on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
I love that I can manage huge projects with hundreds of different tasks, and the fact that I can create my own templates.

Simple and easy to use interface. Good initial application of the software.
Integration with existing Microsoft applications. Ability for DevOps to achieve everything that Asana can but with better Microsoft app integration as Dev Ops is part of the Microsoft Suite.

- It is a useful product that give power to manage your development process step by step.
- It is a great project that you can manage, control and measure your development process with ease.
- It is more useful for development projects but If you want to manage both development and business processes then it is not suitable.

Asana has been helping my company to implement and track multiple standardized processes efficiently (project management, on boarding new workers, training, handling non conformities, incident investigation) which need multi functions involvement and participation.
- Integrated to Google platform - Easy to develop template for standardized process - Smart and simple task scheduling and due date setting - Mobile app
I wish Asana can work with Microsoft to develop an app that enabling Asana to connect with Microsoft Teams.

Overall experience with Asana was great. In the end, I switched to using SmartSheets for a bit, then ended up using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Planner.
Asana is easy to use. There are a lot of features that allow for group collaboration on projects so that that all key stakeholders are in the loop.
Although this platform is good, I have chosen to use alternative software. There is a lack of functionality for my purposes.

Been a great tool for us. Once users started seems it’s power it really started being a big benefit.
It’s simple and easy to use and is web based with companion apps so it can be used on any device. Great collaboration tool with task assigning and tagging individuals so they see whatever you need them to see.
The free version is great for one person or maybe a small team. But if you want to really leverage the power of this software you need a fairly large team and will also need to pay for a subscription.

I am working with an organization onboarding us and using Asana to mange all of the tasks to help us launch our new program.
I used Asana for the first time last week and it is an extremely powerful project management application.
Being a new user, because of its power, the learning curve seems pretty steep. It is also easy to get overwhelmed.

I was amazed when I had used it back in 2013 and then promoted its use in another company. Except a few aspects, the tool is really great for project tracking and management.
- It covers almost all the project management use cases which are very important for any such tool. - The tool is agnostic of the project type and can be used by Software managers, architects, designers, operations managers etc.
The tool can be simplified, at least for non-power users who can get by with the basic functionality to manage projects.

Nice design, lots of useful features; timeline tracking, assigning tasks, lots of notification and reminder capability.
This program can be complicated for new users to get the hang of. Our "power-users" spend a lot of time assisting other users.

Very well suited for project management and well integrated with other microsoft systems like outlook
User friendly and most actionable system. It is one of systems to kèep on going because even on cell phone one can still do the work.
It makes lot or reminders that sometime irritate. It pops-up lot of reminders that somehow consume lot of data to be reading them time and on.
