Pros

Love it, love it love it. As a small business, it has al of the tools we need to run and operate our business.
My overall experience with Google Workspace has been great. There are so many useful tools within it and it is perfect for a business owner.
A really great place to work out of, ease of use is 10/10, and just really a workplace's best friend.

Pros

Coming from lotus notes I was instantly in love with outlook. I loves its clean and simple interface.
Overall, we are very happy and fulfilled with the Outlook software as it stands now and expect it to only get better.
As a software it is very good option. Nice looking UI, user friendly, good email management, directly integrated in Microsoft office.

Cons

For example, inserting code into a google doc is sometimes ugly and extremely inconvenient. I imagine there are other similar specialized use cases that should be added.
We did run into occasional glitches and bugs, especially where access permissions are concerned, which can be a problem.
At times when files are imported from external apps such as Microsoft 360 for example there are loss of formatting and data types which is inconvenient.

Cons

The worst part I would say however is the app. They developed an app for the apple store and quite honestly it is slow and very difficult to navigate around compared to the desktop version.
Crash , no easy access from my phone , new emails update rate , older emails storage , retriving the older emails or lost emails is a big deal.
The interface has too much going on. There are a lot of useless features that i needed to turn off.

G Suite is Simply the Best for Small Businesses

G Suite has been fantastic for both Gmail and Calendar. It has freed up hundreds of hours for my IT department because the systems simply don't crash. Employees are able to be mobile and still send and receive email. Employees can continue to keep a schedule with Calendar even if they are not in the office.

Pros

G Suite is a phenomenal suite back for your small business! The cost is very affordable compared to other suite software. I enjoy using Gmail and Calendar for business. They are 2 of the best programs Google has created. The ability to use G Suite on your phone is incredible. No other suite is going to give you that ability for the price of G Suite.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that this is not like Microsoft Outlook. If you are used to Outlook and the features it offers, G Suite is not for you. G Suite is simply not like Microsoft Outlook in any way.

No complaints on GSuite whatsoever. I prefer it over Microsoft Outlook, it is a lot less complicated to use!

Pros

Mail management is very important for our organization and it's great.Webmail is very easy to use and it's fast.

Cons

Integration with Microsoft Outlook is fine, but it could be imporeved - it occasionally crashes GWSMO and you have to reinitialize the Outlook profile all over again.

Great Platform for multiple reasons

Our experience with Gsuite has been mainly positive. Our biggest headache is Outlook and Gmail conflict mentioned above. Otherwise the entire Gsuite platform has been quite stable.

Pros

I like that Gsuite can be used anywhere in the world without the need to use a VPN to connect to a corporate infrastructure. Google also offers additional cyber security protection that Outlook doesn't offer (Phishing monitoring).

Cons

Users that want to still use Microsoft Outlook, sometimes run into issues with duplication of messages.

Great for grouping work mails

Right now I am solving the linking of G Suite with Outlook, I have been using the help from support assistants from G Suite but we are still working on it.

Pros

As an administrator you control everything about all the mails involved in your company, you can be aware of how employees are using their mails. You have everything in your control. When you have a doubt the people from G Suite help you really well with technical assistant by telephone.

Cons

That it does not function very well with apps external to Google such as Microsoft Outlook. I am still figuring out how to link G Suite with Outlook.

I enjoy using G Suite much more than Microsoft Outlook / Office, yet am glad that it is compatible with the Office documents.

Pros

I've used gmail for decades and now I can use it for business too! It's familiar, simple, functional, and compatible with all my devices.

Cons

The only complaint I have is that there have been some clients that have been difficult to configure and setup if you don't want to use the web browser.

Could not function without it! Light years better than Yahoo Mail and Outlook, and I find myself creating on Google Drive more often than Microsoft Office.

Pros

G Suite has it all–email, calendar, document storage, the list goes on. It's my go-to when creating a presentation, collaborating on a document, or sending an email.

Cons

Google Meet leaves a bit left to be desired. For whatever reason, the video quality is not nearly as great as Zoom (which I use over Google Meet).

I don't use all the apps in this suite but I enjoy using the ones that I do use.

Pros

I use Gmail for personal use. It is great software. I like that you can add multiple accounts onto it. It's great that it links to YouTube and other sites. It shows up on my phone making it accessible. I like Google Docs and Slides. It's really easy for multiple users to edit one file from multiple places. This is my favourite feature. Drive is great. Sometimes when I don't have space on my laptop, I saved my files on Google Drive. This makes my life easier.

Cons

Hangout Meet isn't as easy to use or as connective as Skype or Microsoft Teams. It also isn't as well known. Microsoft Outlook is more accessible and collaborative than Google Calendar.

5 stars, 10/10, I can't live without gsuite. If I ever interviewed at a company who used microsoft/outlook vs g-suite, I wouldn't take the job >.<

Pros

I like everything about this software. The ease of integration between google docs, sheets, calendar etc has made my life as a project manager so much easier. Not only the integration between g-suite, but the integration with our zoom controllers/schedulers is such an important feature within the office.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say about this software, can you believe it?

I use Google Suite, and I get a company email address with it, where I can write and read emails in GMail. I am used to the interface because I use Gmail for personal use at home. It seems to work reliably, and it is fast. There is also spam filtering, but sometimes it goes wrong and filters email I want to read.

Pros

I like that I get GMail at work, which I am used to as I have it for my personal email.

Cons

I think Microsoft Outlook might be better for work, as it seems to function more professionally, but it is what we have.

Support is VERY fast. Service is 100% uptime since the beggining of the time. I use this everyday for Gmail, Calendar and Drive.

Cons

Little expensive if you compare to Microsoft Exchange suite that does the same thing and sync calendar/contacts better with Outlook than Gmail.

Overall my experience is extremely positive. I was a Microsoft Outlook user for almost 15 years and was loathe to change. But Google has made this really easy for me!

Pros

It is so easy to set up, whether on the phone or on the desktop. Everything I need to run the "customer/supplier" side of the business is covered.

Cons

The only thing that irks me is that I can't easily "snooze" an alert on my phone. It only gives options to view or to dismiss. I wish that it would simply snooze as default until I purposefully dismiss it.

Cons

I was Microsoft Office 365 user since last 8 years but when I joined this company i was unaware about how to manage Google Workspace and its admin console. But by time I was getting used to with Admin console I learned alot and it helped me to make my user understad lot of features it hase. I am very satisfied and would recommend new business startups that if they are looking for a low budget but high quality Business Email suite please go for Google Work space.

Basically, Google Workspace has all features which fulfill all your business requirements but it needs to with a stand-alone application like Microsoft has OUTLOOK.

Pros

Easy of use, saas based application, light weight application, user friendly dashboard, spaces, chat, email options are very good. Gmeet is best in the world.

Cons

Expensive subscription. Google documents can be improved to have more features which we have in word, excel, powerpoint. There are frequent sync issues with Microsoft outlook

There's three ways to do email; your hosting provider; microsoft outlook; or google workspace. Your hosting provider will give you junky results, which costs you money. Outlook is nice, but Google Workspace gives more value for the money, and I prefer their ecosystem over Microsofts. Other than that, it was easy enough to get everything going.

Pros

Chat support was helpful when I ran into some issues with setup. My emails always work, I don't have any issues sending, receiving, or keeping track of my emails. The price is fair for the plans, swapping plans is easy as well.

Cons

There's nothing about the software that I didn't care for. It might be a good idea to have a short video walkthrough for people that are less tech savvy though.

- Need a Google account to use - Could be effectively useless if the organization is based on Microsoft Outlook - the desktop application for Macs is slow to sync

Use G Suite For Custom Domain Email Address

Most days I don't think about G Suite. It's just simply part of my process.

Pros

I use G Suite to manage my email address with my Squarespace domain. I used to run my business from an outlook.com email address and I always felt uncomfortable that I didn't have a professional email address. With G Suite I now have my domain name in my email address. No longer are clients wondering if I'm some fly-by-night operation.

Cons

I use Microsoft Outlook for my email software. G Suite's email doesn't play nice with Outlook and requires a separate application to work properly. Each time I reinstall my software on my computer I have to go through the additional steps to make it all work together.

Pros

Used Office 365 for a couple of years before making the switch to G Suite for Business. Pretty happy with the move. Setup was pretty easy to do and there are more integrations with third party apps than Office 365.

Cons

Some basic email, calendar and task management features are missing, or note are: shared mailboxes and recurring tasks. There is a google made plugin to use the gmail account in Microsoft Outlook (desktop) but has bugs is not a efficient as having an exchange account in Outlook.

Pros

This is easy to use- I use Gmail as my personal email and it is easy to sync calendars for work and personal. Similar to Microsoft outlook but more features

Cons

It can be tricky when you are learning how to use this- similar to others but also pretty different.

I like that you can see the calender of your colleagues so you know when to schedule your next appointment.

Cons

Microsoft Outlook: The Best Workspace Manager

My overall experience has been great with Microsoft Outlook, and I shall continue to use it in the future. I strongly recommend this app for all managers/team leaders out there who are looking for an easy-to-handle workspace for their team.

Pros

The best part about Microsoft Outlook is that it is user-friendly. One click and everything is sorted from sending emails to scheduling events/meetings. Sending multiple invites/emails, updating the common work calendar for the team, and dropping notifications/reminders on time so that no one misses out, has become so much easier with Outlook. Wholesome and cohesive communication is a must in a team of around 40 or more, and Outlook is just the app one needs in such cases.

Cons

The only downfall I faced was that the app does not compromise on bandwidth. You need a really strong and smooth flow of the internet, otherwise working on Microsoft Outlook was become really tricky. Other than this, the app is the best to work with!

Microsoft outlook is great and is honestly better for others than for me. If you are a large company I would definitely use it but as a small business I like Google better
