G Suite is Simply the Best for Small Businesses

2018-08-15

G Suite has been fantastic for both Gmail and Calendar. It has freed up hundreds of hours for my IT department because the systems simply don't crash. Employees are able to be mobile and still send and receive email. Employees can continue to keep a schedule with Calendar even if they are not in the office.

Pros

G Suite is a phenomenal suite back for your small business! The cost is very affordable compared to other suite software. I enjoy using Gmail and Calendar for business. They are 2 of the best programs Google has created. The ability to use G Suite on your phone is incredible. No other suite is going to give you that ability for the price of G Suite.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that this is not like Microsoft Outlook. If you are used to Outlook and the features it offers, G Suite is not for you.

Google Suite - Gmail at work

2019-03-12

I use Google Suite, and I get a company email address with it, where I can write and read emails in GMail. I am used to the interface because I use Gmail for personal use at home. It seems to work reliably, and it is fast. There is also spam filtering, but sometimes it goes wrong and filters email I want to read.

Pros

I like that I get GMail at work, which I am used to as I have it for my personal email.

Cons

I think Microsoft Outlook might be better for work, as it seems to function more professionally, but it is what we have.

The Best Intra-Organization Collaboration Software

2019-01-03

Pros

- quick file-sharing among colleagues - ability to easily collaborate on Google's version of the Microsoft suite of apps - Ability to restrict other users to view-only or comment-only on documents

Cons

- Need a Google account to use - Could be effectively useless if the organization is based on Microsoft Outlook - the desktop application for Macs is slow to sync

G Suite is Pretty Awesome!

2019-01-27

Overall experience is amazing. Good for productivity and efficiency.

Pros

Amazing features like Cloud Storage, Google Sheets, Google Forms. The fact that our team can collaborate from any part of the country as long as they are on the internet. Also the security feature as well.

Cons

The fact that sometimes using the google sync app for Microsoft Outlook doesn't work well.

there is nothing wrong with G Suits but Office 365 is more powerful and more widely used , it has good future as Cloud apps is the current trend

Best system for small businesses

2018-12-04

Pros

Used Office 365 for a couple of years before making the switch to G Suite for Business. Pretty happy with the move. Setup was pretty easy to do and there are more integrations with third party apps than Office 365.

Cons

There is a google made plugin to use the gmail account in Microsoft Outlook (desktop) but has bugs is not a efficient as having an exchange account in Outlook.

Best email suite available

2018-10-16

Since Google is the one to follow, Zoho and Microsoft/Outlook offer similar packages.

Pros

- 100 GB or unlimited storage is beyond mind-blowing. - Collaborating with my colleagues means we're all on the same page. - Very fast systems all around

Cons

- It doesn't really seem to get expensive, but you have to keep your eyes out on those costs, otherwise you might find your whole organization locked out. - Security is good, but no 2FA is required yet. - Besides the extra tools and unlimited storage, not much different from regular Gmail tools and apps.

It's not just email

2018-08-15

Pros

For those who just can't let go of Microsoft Outlook there is a nice sync tool for G Suite as well. month/user plan price is a reasonable price for all these features.

Cons

The administrative dashboard is a little clunky considering how streamlined most other Google things are. I wish they would revamp it to make it a little easier to work with.

G Suite is the go to for Email and Business Productivity Tools

2018-08-22

Integrating G Suite's tools, especially email, is very simple. Creating and managing accounts for businesses is simple and intuitive, as the admin interface is clean, easy to navigate, and to the point. For those less tech savvy, managing user accounts in G Suite is easy!

Pros

As a web developer and someone who works with agencies and multiple clients, email can be a pain, especially if it's a proprietary hosting solution. Getting clients to migrate to G Suite ensures that anytime the client decides to host through a different provider won't affect email, nor require the client to worry about losing valuable emails and contacts. When clients are looking for email solutions, G Suite is my go to.

Cons

While a basic tool does exist, sometimes I have to download all of the emails from the old client to Outlook, export, and then run the G Suite for Microsoft Outlook Tool.

The best suite of productivity tools, especially for small businesses!

2018-06-22

Being able to start a small business with little overhead

Pros

Gmail is obviously the best part, not having to deal with mail / Exchange servers or Microsoft Outlook. There's no need for any Office software either.

Cons

I may well have a unique complaint simply because of being grandfathered onto the Free tier. Sometimes we feel like the unwanted child because we're not a "paying" G Suite customer like all the new people who sign up, and we're not the free Personal users that Google likes to experiment on. So we end up in a limbo-land where we're the last to get updates, new features, etc. Again, all that could be eliminated if we upgraded to the Paid tier, but so far it hasn't been TOO much of an inconvenience to justify the extra cost.

An essential staple for productivity

2018-07-24

Pros

Though I use G-Suite, Outlook has way more features that makes it worth using.

Cons

A LOT of features! I've been using Outlook for years, in all kinds of versions, and I'm still able to find a feature to use that I hadn't found before. But it's probably better to have than to not have.
