Pros

I used this majority of my way in high school, college and now the post graduate work like. It’s so easy to navigate and I LOVE IT I share documents with my colleges ans co workers it’s amazing.
Super easy to use since it's just like Microsoft Office. Great if your device doesn't have Office and you need to use the same platforms.
I love how easy it is to use and how file sharing is super integrated. The quality for the cost of the product is super.

Pros

The beautiful interface and ease of use intrigues me and appears to be useful. It also has excellent tool management with an outstanding performance.
It is also a most widely used presentation software for a customer or a venue with the guarantee of not being rejected. Thus, an amazing tool that assures one with great experiences.
I just love how easy WPS Office is to use. It is much cheaper than Microsoft's 365, it is much more beautiful and user friendly than Open Office, and it is an all around great piece of software.

Cons

Some options are missing from it, but that is to be expected from a web-based app. The only thing I dislike is how hard it is to open the documents generated in Google Docs through other software.
The downside of this is that someone can edit the document as you are presenting and mess with your presentation or confuse your line of thoughts.
The icons are small and it's easy to accidentally press the wrong button or hit the wrong combination of keystrokes and change the menu into tiny icons with no explanations.

Cons

But sometimes firewall and IPS systems warn there may be a risk with those connections and this is a bit annoying. Further, the WPS spreadsheet application gets freeze from time to time.
One thing is that it takes a long to load while you are going to open the file. Its time wasting or irritating if you are in hurry.
It worked very hard, it blocked, it stopped and it gave me a lot of errors.

Google Docs

Good for professional purposes and great tool for team work

Reviewed 6 years ago

Eliminated the need of email multiple exchanges of documents among users. It became easy to track the changes made by other users.

Pros

1. Extremely simple user interface and easily accessible from any device via app or browser. 2. Automatically saves the work in real time. 3. Google doc permissions are easily controllable while sharing with others. 4. Allows us to add or remove collaborators thereby gives us the control to manage changes in the document. 5. Import and export of documents is compatible with other softwares.

Cons

I didn't find any major drawback in this software. It's the best alternative to microsoft word. However, Document presentation in mobile could be improved (as compared to wps office). The software also needs internet access to function properly.

Google docs will be a perfect tool if there are more advance formatting tools

Reviewed 4 years ago

As a research students of my university, I used to co-operate with my mates on writting journals. With Google Docs, we can share our link with each others, and with the history and avatar, we could recognised the ealier version and its aurthor. This feature has benefits most of the researchers in which we can create and correct our peers' content directly and then combine them together. Therefore, we have higher productivity as we are not require to send our docs file to each other repeatedly.

Pros

What I like the most about this software is the feature - autosave. This feature has enabled users to save their documents file in drive or even offline. Hence, this feature has reduced the risks where documents will be unsaved when the browser is either on the offline condition or even sudden shutdown.

Cons

The formatting style of other docs files created by offline software like WPS or Word is difficult to duplicate in Google Docs. This has affected the performance as it takes a long time for readjusting the format again. In other words, we make the formatting job redundantly, from adjusting in WPS or Word and then readjust in Google Docs for Team Work.

Everything as explain in my review

No software is needed for Google docs and everything that is necessary including extra's in included in your browser. And multiple users can access your documents at the same time.

Cons

Can't really think of anything negative....the application is that good. If anything, I would say use with other documents other than Microsoft format such as WPS Writer.

Google Docs The best Document Management

Generally speaking, google docs is exceptionally simple to utilize Anyone, regardless of whether their insight into innovation is feeble or current, can manage Google Docs in an extremely smooth and simple manner. There isn't anything confounded for new individuals by any means. • simple to arrange I don't conceal hidden from you.

Pros

Google DOCs is a Free instrument, dissimilar to Microsoft office can utilize it from anyplace, Beside it didn't cost me any cash. Continuous coordinated effort and adjusting are extremely wonderful from my end, any colleague can likewise work simultaneously with us. Saving the progressions is programmed, the possibility of losing information hasn't arrived.

Cons

I might have some minor issues while involving this product in my works. The clearest issue is, I can add a straightforward table in Google Docs while utilizing it. The tables can't be altered innovatively, as they miss the mark on include. Along these lines, I really want to utilize word or WPS office to embed the wanted plan for the table and transfer that document to Google Docs.

Great for people who don't need the bells and whistles of Microsoft Office

We use it department by department. If you start dealing with other offices very often or having to script your applications, you're going to want Microsoft Office.

Pros

Simple to use, sharing docs and concurrent editing is much better than Office 365. Logging into multiple accounts is handled MUCH better than Microsoft accounts. You can have a FREE personal account to get very good use out of this without having to get into gSuite for office.

Cons

Microsoft is the office, so if you have lots of interactions with other professional offices or use advanced features of Microsoft Office suite, you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't just get Office.

Good mobile software to view all most all kind of files

It is able to view and edit all types of documents be it doc, spreadsheet, ppts. Doesn't take a lot of space. Easy to use.

Cons

Doesn't automatically stores files on cloud and doesn't have much of a presence on PCs. So, if you want to access the file on a PC, first either you will have to transfer the files to PC and then use MS Word or Google sheets to view/edit it. This is very cumbersome since the orientation and other things might change.

The Cons that I encountered with this program is that It has limited function in terms of team collaboration like google docs and Office 360. I hope they'll introduce it soon.

I have used free version of WPS office and as per my experience its best option against Microsoft office. WPS is also compatible with Microsoft office and google docs so we can create, manage and share our docs to other. There are lots of different types of templates available in WPS office which help user to understand different functionalities of WPS.

Cons

We used free WPS and its provide lots of functionalities so we cant say that there are any major cons in comparison of cost perspective but there are few compatibility issue with Microsoft office.

Tool that is similar to MS Office

Reviewed 5 years ago

Is great to have wps in my phone. I dont get any problem opening any files if i need to as it is compatible with ms office.

Pros

Been using this in my adroid phone, already available since I bought my phone. It lets me download MS files and make it compatible for editing. You can create files and documents the normal way. Is compatible with google docs too.

Cons

This is user friendly, cant tell something not good. Besides it can be downloaded for free.

Good alternative when working from home

Reviewed 4 years ago

As I'm working from home, my workplace didn't want to have to buy all new licenses for Microsoft 365 and this allows me to open and edit documents and spreadsheets with ease and for free. Personally, I've taken it on and prefer it to Google Drive and its apps.

Pros

It has the functionality of most of Microsoft 365 for free and with the ability to open pdfs and other files. Although not a perfect one-to-one correspondence, compared to something like Google Docs, WPS offers superior performance and flexibility.

Cons

Not all the features are there that I'd hope for and it takes some time to find features that you are used to in Microsoft 365.

Easy to use office suite for android

Reviewed 5 years ago
Pros

I have used kingsoft office/WPS office application on android for editing document and i liked the ease of use and the quick load of application. Unlike google docs in early days, WPS office was easy to manage the offline documents and spreadsheets

Cons

The WPS office application can not handle password protected files and felt very sluggish to use when document contains images and the file size is high.

Vendor response

Hi PHANEENDRA, thanks for your review. We do handle password protected files. If you have any questions, please contact out support team via officesupport@wps.com. Our team will help solve your issue.

WPS Office -- Just like the "other" office suite, but priced for the rest of us

Reviewed 5 years ago

This is my go-to office suite. While I don't use the presentation application much, the spreadsheet and word processor are outstanding. It's price is affordable and you definitely get more than your money's worth for it. For simple documents, one might turn to Google Docs or Google Sheets, and that's fine if you have limited requirements. But for anything slightly more complex like a business brochure or similar, I strongly recommend WPS Office.

Pros

- Includes most, if not all, of the features of MS Office. - Has a familiar, modern user interface, to make switching to it more intuitive. - Priced right for small businesses and personal use - More compatible with native MS Office documents compared to OpenOffice or LibreOffce

Cons

I really haven't found anything that I dislike about the software. With most software there is usually comes to mind that is annoying or inconvenient, but not so with WPS Office. It has robust functionality and I can't remember encountering any bugs that stopped me from doing what I need to do.
