There isn't much I don't like about google drive. The offline work can be a little tricky at times and I have lost a few sentences due to this feature.

Filestream integrates perfectly with Windows Explorer. I LOVE that I can access files on my computer that are on the shared drive in the same way I would access a file in MyDocuments.

			                                                       What these products did for me was giving me the ability to organize and carry my files with me everywhere I go and gives me the ability to share important confidential documents with clients and others by controlling even the security settings. So having that type of granular control over my documents gave me a lot of control and power to the point that I almost didn't need an assistant.
			                                                       Google Drive is best for the fact that most people already tend to have a Google or a Gmail account. And the fact is, when you're ready to share documents with others, there's far less resistance when you send them a link from a Google Drive. You just click through and follow through with their accounts. And there's less hassles in terms of holding their hands and walking them through it to access one single document. So just the simplicity in saving time is one of the biggest factors with Google Drive.
			                                                       I believe OneDrive is best for a fact that it's already included in most people's computers, especially if they have Windows. And the fact is, when you're looking for some type of a cloud storage solution, there it is. It's already updated. It's already available on your computer. And so I definitely understand the tendency to try OneDrive because of the fact that it's so easily accessible and in your face when you have your computer up.
			                                                       The great thing about getting started on both of these apps is that the steps are quite easy. Either one requires you to set up an initial account, whether with Microsoft or Google, but one advantage that I do see with the Google Drive option is the fact that especially with people who are predominantly on Android phones, the reality is that you're going to have access to the Google Drive application already installed on your phone. So having access to all the documents and files that you save through your computer directly from your phone, without having to go through additional steps, I think makes it a little bit more of an advantage.
			                                                       My top considerations when I look for a software like this is obviously cost. As a small business owner running my own office, I always want to make sure that I keep a watchful eye on the cost, but of course, certainly there's other important factors like ease of use and adaptability because I'm not the only one that's going to be using the software and be making sure that people that I work with, my clients as well as my staff, can be able to jump in and access my files without too much hassles. So price, adaptability and usability for me are the most important factors.

			                                                       So I use both of these products at work and personally. OneDrive comes with our Microsoft Office Suite and we use it for our internal team. Google Drive, the partners use that, different stakeholders, internationally and partners we work within the business they prefer Google Drive, so I've been using both of them. I much prefer Google Drive.
			                                                       The strengths of Google Drive are the seamless integration with Google suites, with my Gmail, with my Google Calendar, with my Android phone, it just works. And then just log in once and I've got access to the full ecosystem of all their products. And so have other people with Google accounts and increasingly so, people without Google accounts can access this suite of documents. The other thing I like about it is the different file types that you can edit while in Google Drive, so it's not just static file storage, but it's version control and it's editing.
			                                                       OneDrive strengths. It's got quite a nice interface, user interface with the usual tree structure of folders. I liked that. It seems quite robust within 365 and Teams, and I felt confident about my file security and encryption. It's got more of a professional, tighter feel to it.
			                                                       Both of them take a little bit of onboarding, neither of them are as straightforward as you might expect. They have slightly different styles in terms of editing and renaming files. It wasn't too difficult, but there is a little bit of effort and learning, a short learning curve for both.
			                                                       So if you're looking for some cloud storage, I suggest you think about what you've already got. Is your ecosystem for your staff or yourself within the Google environment or the Microsoft environment? It makes sense to stick with each of those environments. Beyond that, because people work across environments these days, I would look for the amount of editing you need to do with these files. Is it just a repository for files and you're not going to use it again, or you don't need to access it that often, then OneDrive is very generous, they give you a lot of storage. And the Google style storage has more options for sharing and working with things like Android phones and tablets. So consider your broader needs around the file storage.

			                                                       This software allows me to be able to save, transfer and share files and contracts and whatever else I need to shoot out to one of the other employees or to one of my clients.
			                                                       Google Drive is best for when you're on the go. If you've got a cell phone or a tablet that has Google on it, you've got access to Google Drive. So it's super simple for people out in the field to go ahead and take some pictures or whatever they need to do, build a document and they can send it right back to me at the office. And I've got automatic access to it. That's one of the best things about Google Drive.
			                                                       For me, OneDrive is better because it has no real security issues, like Google gets hacked on a regular basis. So if I want something to feel secure about where I store it, I put it in my OneDrive. And also, all of the paperwork that I may accumulate from the guys in the field using the Google Drive, I can save it in my one drive for easy access on my laptop or my desktop.
			                                                       Software programs are super simple to use. The difference being Google is a little easier because it's already on all your phones. OneDrive, you got to take the time to actually download an extra program and it can be a little more time consuming.
			                                                       My top recommendations would be to make sure that you can find a software program that allows you to share the way these two do. These two really are top of the line, and it's just a matter of how much you're willing to pay or what feature that you're more interested in because they're so similar. But for me, they're both top-notch and I use them both all the time.

                                                       I used to use OneDrive at my school for all the assignments and uploading all the documents or resource materials you must save. But eventually, when I came to the end of my semester, I switched over to Google Drive for my personal use, such as storing my files, backing up my data, storing my photos, etcetera.
                                                       Google Drive is much more seamless compared to other competitors, because the UI is super simple and it barely crashes when you're uploading a large file. Also, it does not have any limit to what size you can upload, like a single file I'm talking about, so whatever the plan supports. The limit is high anyway that I haven't heard ever before.
                                                       OneDrive is much better for collaboration with other team members, such as your colleagues or your fellow mates, where they are linked to one organization, so you can easily give them access to, and it's much more seamless to other competitors.
                                                       Google Drive has a much smaller learning curve because it is in line with other Google products, so the UI is fairly simple. OneDrive has a higher learning curve. It has more features, but then it might scare off new users in the first [inaudible 00:01:29]. It has much more control.
                                                       The topmost considerations when looking for cloud computing solutions and Cloud 2 resolution, would be the ease of use and how fast you can upload your files, such as photos, and how easily you can download them back, without any interruptions or cancellation of downloads or uploads.

                                                       Google Drive and OneDrive are both great data sharing apps. You can store your files on the cloud. You can collaborate with your team. So I have been extensively using them to manage my projects with my colleagues in my class.
                                                       Google Drive is best for sharing your documents with your peers and the interface is really simple on there, so you don't need a much of a learning curve. Anyone can pretty much use it. If you share a file with them, they can open it, edit it and add more files to the project.
                                                       OneDrive is pretty much similar to any of the cloud sharing app. It's also, you can share your files on it. You can store your files, make backups. However, the user interface can be a little bit clunky and sometimes it can get bit laggy.
                                                       I would say Google Drive was the easiest to get started with because a Google workspace is pretty much consistent all across on the Gmail app and things like that. OneDrive can be a bit cumbersome, but it's good, but you might need a little while with that tinkering around to get to work.
                                                       My top consideration is ease of use because everyone else on the team must know how to use it so we don't waste time sharing our files, but rather use that time to build that project.

			                                                       So both of these projects help us figure out how to store our information. Our Word documents, our spreadsheets, et cetera, so that our whole team can view them and so that we can all collaborate on the same documents together and see the updates that everybody makes, even if we're on different computers or in different locations across the country.
			                                                       One Drive was great. Because of a lot of our team was used to a lot of the formatting features that Microsoft Word and Excel provide, and they're all easily accessible so because you can just use your base Word subscriptions. And it's also great for if you want to just have a separate file that is on your computer rather than having to go to the Cloud, you can do that through One Drive.
			                                                       Google Drive is great for, if you don't want to have your team download the separate One Drive app, you can just have a link from your browser that you can send that people can view right away. People don't need to have a copy of Office installed. They can just use the Google products to accomplish the same functionality.
			                                                       I think both products were pretty intuitive to learn to use. I think on Google Drive, the biggest thing was getting used to File Management, just being in the Cloud and having a slightly different UI there. And then also the UI being slightly different for each of the documents. In One Drive, probably the hardest thing was the Save features. Save is, saving is very different when you have a bunch of people working on the same document. You have the Auto, you have to ... Auto Save happens immediately. And so getting used to that functionality and the file management there, it took a little bit, but it was all pretty intuitive.
			                                                       I think the top considerations for us when looking for this kind of software are how easy it is to use. And then what functionality does it offer? Yeah. Can we easily format the documents, for example. Another thing that we look at is Version Control and being able to see what changes teammates have made when they made them, so that you don't lose any data if somebody makes a change because everybody's working on the same documents together. So having that UI be good is really important.

			                                                       I personally think that OneDrive is best for if you have files that you need to be extra secure, it actually offers you a personal vault with an added secure password. And I really like that for if you're doing banking or things like that. So OneDrive is absolutely great for having extra security.
			                                                       So Google Drive is best for if you have a lot of files, it actually offers you more storage, especially for the free level. So that's why I prefer recommending Google Drive when it comes to having a lot of storage needed.
			                                                       Getting started on Google Drive and OneDrive are actually really, really simple. You just set up an account and you are ready to get started. It is that simple. With Google Drive you get added apps that are available, that OneDrive doesn't have, but they're both so simple to get started on.
			                                                       So when you're looking for a software that's going to allow you to access files on the internet you want to make sure that you're going to be in a very secure environment, that you don't want hackers to be able to go in and grab your information, especially if you're having personal files on there like your banking files or business files, you've want to make sure it's really secure. And both Google Drive and OneDrive are very secure, but like I mentioned, OneDrive has the added personal vault, which I highly recommend for your personal. I love using both systems so I honestly recommend just get both.

                                                       So what's the purpose? Why did I really start using the cloud? Because OneDrive and Google Drive is the cloud. It really helped me move around the country as I needed to always having my data right when and where I needed it.
                                                       OneDrive is that perfect tool that is always there for you. Why? When I record a show, when I do a program, I need to get out of Dodge rather quickly. I don't have to worry whether when I leave, that data is there. OneDrive is always there picking it up, syncing it, making sure it's always up to date.
                                                       Google Drive is also a very good product. It serves the same purpose as OneDrive, but the integration that OneDrive's have, which is more seamless, not only with a lot of your editing tools, but with other products, makes it for this purpose, a better choice. Google Drive, good in certain instances, OneDrive tops in just about all.
                                                       A reality is, Google Drive and OneDrive are both easy to use. However, when it comes to integrating into a Windows 10 type operating system, OneDrive is much easier to use because One does not have to go offline to pick up a tool to download, to make it seem like the drive you want it to be. So OneDrive, Google Drive both easy to use, OneDrive, more seamlessly integrated, more easy to install and configure.
                                                       When looking for softwares like any cloud software, it is important that you have the good feel that that company is going to be around. After all if you have two terabytes of data somewhere in the cloud, you don't want it to be Joe Blow where maybe it'll be there, maybe it won't. And if they dissolve, are you going to get a data back up? Do you have your data backup? So, no. You want to make sure that you have a reliable company that's holding onto your data in the cloud.

                                                       Both these products help us store company data in a way that is accessible to the whole team, no matter what computer they're on. And so that's all of our files and all of our collaboration as well on documents, on spreadsheets, on simulation tools. Those are all shared with these.
                                                       OneDrive is great if you are used to using typical Word documents or just Microsoft Office documents. The formatting on these documents are a little bit better and you don't actually have to go to the cloud to see everything. You have the folder just right on your computer, and you can use them just like you are used to using them on a normal computer.
                                                       Google Drive is great for being able to quickly share links between different people for documents that you're working on. Collaboration is a little bit more seamless. Two people can work on a single document at the same time in a way that you don't really have to worry about any issues with compatibility, as both people are making changes.
                                                       I think it was a little bit easier getting started with Google Drive than OneDrive. Google Drive was just really intuitive to figure out what to do. OneDrive has a few quirks that you have to figure out with document check-in. It gives you the option to have a folder on your computer for personal files that you can share across accounts, but for business files, you actually have to go onto their SharePoint system. And if you want to really have seamless collaboration with your teams, use Microsoft Teams combined with SharePoint, combined with OneDrive to have that collaboration be really seamless. So that setup can take a minute.
                                                       But on the other hand, Google Drive had some issues with document formatting, if we wanted to get the same things like captions and things on documents that we were used to in Microsoft Office products. So there's a little bit more formatting spend up there.
                                                       When looking for this kind of software. I think some of the main considerations are privacy for our company, making sure that our files are kept in a way that our company has control over and can manage accounts, and also just ease of use and collaboration.
