Pros

“I liked Hightail's design, service, and storage/transfer capabilities, in addition to my using it as a backup or alternate to other programs; Hightail is reliable in this capacity, and I generally felt confident in using it--whether sending out or receiving.”

Mack B.

Digital asset manager

“The overall Experience was Good and I was able to share the large size files to others and the collaboration features are also good and you can also track your files and know when they were opened or downloaded.”

Kalpit G.

CEO

“For our photos, brand standards, or even when we need to send files/images/videos to someone else on the team.”

Austin D.

Digital Marketing

Pros

“I love being able to search for specifc audio files and add them to my library. ”

Dana P.

CVOM

“I could see this feature saving me countless hours when sharing documents, presentations, high-resolution photos, and media files between devices - especially when working remotely or traveling.”

Travis O.

Graphic Designer and Writer

“As a professional video editor of unscripted TV shows for the biggest TV broadcasters I send preview files of my editing sessions to my clients for review.”

Marek J.

TV online Video Editor

Cons

“Hightail did not work well with my Internet speeds, and felt slow and even cumbersome at times.”

Mack B.

Digital asset manager

“There also appears to be an issue where the email notifications to recipients often end up not being delivered based on my experience, which is a minor issue when dealing with low volume usage.”

Rakawi L.

Game Designer

Cons

“What I liked least about LimeWire was the high risk of downloading viruses or corrupted files, and the lack of file quality control, which often made it a gamble every time you tried to get a song or video.”

MARCELO C.

management

“As a DJ, it was a goldmine for rare edits and bootlegs. But at the same time, the platform was full of sketchy files, slow downloads, and the constant risk of infecting your computer.”

MARCELO C.

management

“However, the experience was somewhat diminished by the introduction of paid restrictions and the missed opportunity to integrate features from PairDrop after acquiring it. While it showed a lot of potential, some of its decisions limited the platform’s ability to fully meet user expectations.”
