Simple and easy to use interface. Good initial application of the software.
Integration with existing Microsoft applications. Ability for DevOps to achieve everything that Asana can but with better Microsoft app integration as Dev Ops is part of the Microsoft Suite.

Asana has been helping my company to implement and track multiple standardized processes efficiently (project management, on boarding new workers, training, handling non conformities, incident investigation) which need multi functions involvement and participation.
- Integrated to Google platform - Easy to develop template for standardized process - Smart and simple task scheduling and due date setting - Mobile app
I wish Asana can work with Microsoft to develop an app that enabling Asana to connect with Microsoft Teams.

Overall experience with Asana was great. In the end, I switched to using SmartSheets for a bit, then ended up using Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Planner.
Asana is easy to use. There are a lot of features that allow for group collaboration on projects so that that all key stakeholders are in the loop.
Although this platform is good, I have chosen to use alternative software. There is a lack of functionality for my purposes.

-Help to keep the work tasks organised. -Easy to use -Perfect tool for project and task management -Helps in avoiding over communication
It doesn’t have an inbuilt integration with Microsoft like in Slack

The main tasks creation feature is great. Asana has an interesting way of assigning users on each step of a job our project. Very useful.
I miss integration with other products, like Google Drive or Microsoft Office.

I like how organized you can get with the projects. I like to be able to see all of my projects clearly in one place.
I wish there was more integration with either Outlook or Microsoft Dynamics.

Very well suited for project management and well integrated with other microsoft systems like outlook
User friendly and most actionable system. It is one of systems to kèep on going because even on cell phone one can still do the work.
It makes lot or reminders that sometime irritate. It pops-up lot of reminders that somehow consume lot of data to be reading them time and on.

I liked using it, BUT could not justify paying for it.
The boards are laid out nicely. I love the templates for different projects.
Microsoft Office suite has Planner built in and its free. Asana is expensive.

Happy with the product. We are using this tool from the past 2 years. No issues no concerns
Ease of use, user-friendly, highly customizable
Has a cost involved since Microsoft Planner is free since it's part of the O365 bundle.

Asana allows teams to collaborate on projects and schedule tasks with deadlines similar to Microsoft Planner.
The Asan dashboard is underwhelming but you will get used to it.

Unlike comparable products, the free account offers unlimited tasks, projects, and conversations, and supports up to 15 team members. This is a great way to get started and learn the features and capabilities.
I really don't see a lot of integration capabilities with Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, To-Do, Project).

Favorite task management and project management tool for its ease of use, low learning curve to get started, but lots of features to help organize projects and team members and resources
Easy to get started and nice UI. Easy to create new tasks and organize into sub-tasks or projects Easy to include new members and people outside your organization Easy to drag all types of documents into each task Can view tasks and projects in variety of formats like kanban cards, timeline, checklist Provides a great high-level view of projects Lots of new features Can create various projects for a larger project Integrates with a variety of time tracking tools, email, Gantt charts, etc.
Lack of technical documentation with their API Different tiers of integration Microsoft Teams plug-in is slow

Mediocre, I think Microsoft teams is way superior to any other platforms and our organization has switched to it as well.
1. Ease of useability and integration. 2. We can see all our tasks and progress on the tasks. 3. It can eliminate the use of other products such as JIRA.
It's hard for new users to get used to. there is no functionality to assign 1 task to multiple people as it does not let you. there is no option to log work or track time spent on a project or task

The task list helps to inform others of tasks they need to complete.
No file system. Non-Intuitive. Difficult to navigate. Poor graphics. Non-integration with Microsoft products. Poor communication tool.

Perfectly functional and great for teams. Will use on future jobs.
Can manage different teams and freelancers easily. Particularly useful for telecommuters. Extremely easy to learn.
It's too bad it doesn't integrate into Microsoft Outlook calendar but email reminders solve that so it's not a big deal.

I can know in real time the status of tasks and projects, as well as create, assign and comment on tasks easily, to know at all times what is being done and who is doing it
Unlike Microsoft project, it does not generate a Gantt chart for the project and the free version only allows up to 15 people.

Asana has a great layout and integrates well within other products such as Microsoft teams. Alerts and useful in keeping track of deadlines.
Asana is more useful for managers who overlook multiple projects with team members vs a user managing a single project. Difficult to use when wanting to get task specific.

I really liked the task manager, and the ability to check off action items. For the cost and speed to set up, ASANA was better than any other system I used.
I loved the cost and the ability to list out the various parts of a projects in a "checkable" format. It was basically a digital checklist.
I think there could be a better system for document management and shared document editing through a 3rd party like google or microsoft.

Good - will definitely continue to use it!
Our team utilizes Asana daily for intake, project management and asset hand-off. This tool provides a one stop shop for all things related to the project!
Wish it was easier to review mutliple timeslines at once and the gannt chart isn't flexible/visual as a Microsoft Projects or SmartSheet

This is a great tool for coordianting tasks for complex projects across teams. Everyone has visibility into the schedule and individual tasks and responsibilities. I can also overlay schedules to manage individual workloads across individuals on the team.
I can assign tasks to individuals with specified start and stop dates. Additionally, I can make tasks contingent on of other tasks. If the schedule changes, I can shift all downstream tasks without redoing the entire schedule.
It would be great if it integrated with the Microsoft office outlook calendar. You have to open the website to look at the schedule
