I usually prefer Google drive for note taking because it allows for easy sharing of information, and organization is also easy on Drive. I also don't tend to have as many issues with data limits on Google drive.
OneNote is great for note-taking and organizing files! Really multifunctional. You can add notebooks, folders, and pages so that information is categorized, which is great for a type-A personality/organizer like myself. It's easy to insert images, PDFs, or other files into OneNote.
iCloud seems to fill up fast and at a certain point OneNote actually cut me off from using it. It would not let me edit anything or add new pages. I don't think you can share data and edit simultaneously, which is why I often prefer Google drive. Overall, I had some issues with the software which I didn't quite know where they came from and I ended up not using One Note for that reason... never figured out exactly what went wrong

After switching from taking notes on Google drive to using OneNote the change is night and day, its streamlined and easy to keep on top of whenever I need to tend to other matters.
Free to use, and doesn't lock Features behind a paywall. Works well in organizing notes, and projects without unnecessary restrictions. Good for what it looks to provide, and makes keeping notes a breeze. Contains 5 GB of free storage, which I rarely fill half of.
Heard that it only stores locally for windows, but that doesn't affect me or my work, so I can't comment much on that.

Like I said, this is a collaborative tool within my team mostly but I do in fact keep personal notes. You can take notes, share them, back them up, it's pretty self explanatory but somehow it's better than say, Google Sheets or a Word doc in a LAN drive
I use this with my team as a collaborative repository on our projects - we have useful queries, case studies, solution impact and analysis broken by down by topic which helps daily
I guess that sometimes my access goes from full access to read only out of nowhere. Which is cumbersome.

I like how easy it's to take tasks and autosave the OneNote with your one drive account. With one drive account I can manage the documents from anywhere
I want to see a more page like alignment on the notes I take and not be mis aligned every time I type

Easy to use, lots of ways to use it, integrates with Outlook, mobile app, lots of options, features. Easy to incorporate into your daily routines. Can share notes an notebooks with coworkers, friends or family.
Some of the web app features are not as good as the full hard-drive version. A subscription to Office365 is needed for the hard-drive version, but the web app is good also.

One note is allowing me to share notes with my colleagues who are located in different countries. This
Integration with coworkers to share notes allows attachments to files on one drive which is amazing.
I dislike the webversion. It lacks a lot of features that the application has like attaching files. It is not stable as well

integrating is the key for this feature. If this app includes call, it will be better to integrate.
onenote has multiuser integrate feature to use the app at the same time with multiple people. It's good for school project.
This has almost identical feature to google words and mostly for the students, teacher or professors give the project by google.

We use it to track the dogs we are keeping an eye on at dog shelters, include any information we learn about the dogs. We also maintain the contact information for vendors and volunteers. We also use it to track serial numbers for software and equipment.
OneNote is easy to use. It's free-form layout lets us organize and find varied data of varied types, including text, photos, and links.
Getting One Note set up or moving it from one computer to the next is not as easy as it could be. The program prefers storing the files in One Drive. It is a bit of a challenge to get it set up to store the files on the computer's hard drive.

Great overall experience managing my notes and sharing them with my colleagues. I would highly recommend this over other resources like Evernote.
The ease of sharing my notes with someone, commenting on notes by both primary author and collaborators, auto sync on the one drive.
For some reason, one note seems to perform better on Mac systems but not as much on windows. It crashes a lot on windows.

The software allows for me to keep all of my notes and tasks in one place, and can be shared with and collaborated on by others. This means I dont miss any tasks and can keep everything organised. Helps with agile working as this can be used across devices also.
Sometimes they can be hard to find shared files on one drive but once you get the hang of it this is much easier to do.

Overall, I would say I had a great experience with Microsoft OneNote. It has been beneficial in my personal notetaking which involves business ideas and business plans. Microsoft OneNote has helped me to organize my files, notes, and ideas. This allowed me to keep track of all the necessary details which I need to be able to run my business smoothly. I like how I can take notes whenever and wherever. This software is useful.
Microsft OneNote is easy to use. This is user-friendly software. It allows me to write my notes on one device and yet, I get to open it on another device. Its cloud syncing is superb. It's also easy to sync events with the calendar. I also like how it allows voice recording in the middle of note-taking. I also get to draw doodles or diagrams in my notes. I also like how it allows me to link different pages and create templates, which can all be saved.
I think one feature that can be improved in this software is the addition of integration with Google Calendar or Google Drive. So far, Microsoft Note doesn't allow this integration yet but perhaps it can be done in the future. It would be great if this integration would be made possible. Also, the ability to draw on notes is not supported in iPhones. Good thing, I'm using Android. But it would be great if the drawing feature would also be made available in iPhones. The drawing tools are also limited. I think the addition of more drawing tools would be a great improvement to this software.

I really have enjoyed both the notetaking experience in OneNote and the ability to easily create to-do lists to track open/closed tasks.

- It's free - Free plan comes with 5GB of storage, which is more than enough for image notes - Much more organization capabilities than Google Keep - Drawing function pretty useful, especially if paired with a Surface tablet
- Set up is just not as friendly or easy as Google Keep - Microsoft's platform is just so bloated in comparison to Google - Integration on my phone is not as seamless as it could be (Microsoft apps have some issues on Android)

I love using it as my notes. Its sharing capabilities made it easy for my use. the one drive cloud connection to the onenote made it very easy for me to switch between the devices.
Its ease of attaching pictures audios in the note, it has a great segregation of the notes and very ease of access. We can even attach the notes on the desktop. The integration with one-drive makes it very easy to access the files form different platforms. We can assign people who can edit who can watch and easy to share and all happens in real time.
Should be improved as a phone app in particular the PC application is awesome. a bit lagging behind the apple notes in the iphone.

if you're using the storage for more personal use I highly recommend it
Google Drive is by far superior from a pricing standpoint. You get 15gb free for just being a Google member, which is also free.
I would say it's a little less business friendly as it's not as file explorer oriented. Using Microsoft OneNote spoils you in that regard.

It is the best free drive you can find, with a very generous amount of free storage. Easy to use and very good when doing collaboration works. Not very used by companies (in my experience) but to the normal consumer is the best you can get.
- File-syncing - Very generous amount of free storage - Excelent to use in collaborations - Inexpensive for the normal consumer
- Productivity software not as capable as Microsoft Office - Some imports get deformed due to campatibility between Microsoft and Google tools

I have used the integration that it has with other applications, mainly Android phones. I am satisfied with what I can do today with Google Drive.
Very good file integration and storage, link sharing and file organization. Simple, clear and easy interface.
I already consider it quite good, but I think it could improve by implementing more functions like capturing screenshots directly to the cloud (like OneNote for Windows) and organizing more specifically types or classifications of files.

I love having a suite of robust cloud-based software solutions. I love that my work is automatically saved; I never have to worry about a computer hiccup or electrical blip compromising hours of work. Drive makes it easy to collaborate with others and to pick up right where I stopped from anywhere - work, home, or on the go. Google Docs is easy to use, intuitive, and easy to share. Same with Google Sheets. Google's Slide presentations are easy to format, easy to set the timing and best of all can be shared via link. No more broken presentations from photos not being stored in the right folder when transferring between computers.
Although the Google Drive suite is a fantastic substitute for Microsoft Office, there are a few advanced features that Microsoft offers that are not available in Google Drive. I notice this particularly in Google Sheets vs Microsoft Excel.
