Very good document sharing and data management tool

2018-12-24

Pros

This app is very good for sharing of documents amongst your team members for information and collaboration. I like the fact that it is web-based and yet still secure giving me peace of mind to share sensitive data.

Cons

If this can be made to integrate with Slack, that would be perfect!

Microsoft's Most Retched Product Ever Made

2019-01-04

Sharepoint is a complete waste of time and money.

Pros

Companies need two tools - Dropbox for sharing files and Slack for internal messaging - end of story.

Cons

Absolutely terrible user interface - hard to design with, hard to change and impossible to get anyone internally to actually use it.

Good For All Types of Project Management

2019-03-28

Slack helped the office a lot with integrating various programs different people used (some preferred DRIVE and that initially caused lack of cohesion with team members. WE loved making emojis as well.

Pros

I liked the document management portion as it was much easier to use than Microsoft SharePoint and helped with the speedy progress of the assignment.

Cons

I didn't have any problems whatsoever with the software,

Excellent Comminucation & Collaboration tool

2019-03-26

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. Users can create their own hashtags and channels for creating discussion forms around topics of interest. This is an excellent tool to encourage employees to discover new content, contribute to a discussion, and thereby lead them to improve organizational processes and products. It's a must have social tool for fostering innovation

Cons

New users may feel overwhelmed at first but once you get hang of it, it's easy to use As far as I know, no integration with Microsoft Outlook or sharepoint

another useless tool. Who needs another thing to check. Why can't this be integrated to our work

2018-06-20

none

Pros

It can provide great content but so can SharePoint

Cons

You have to go into it to find anything. Not easy to search or find information that you need. Not integrated to how we work it is a separate tool.

Not a fan of Email? Try Slack!

2018-10-31

Maybe add features similar to sharepoint or other CMS, Document Management System.

Pros

What I liked most about Slack is its straightforward approach of doing things SIMPLER and STRAIGHTFORWARD. Hate emails? Slack might be the perfect SOLUTION to your ever growing INBOX! If only Slack was invented earlier! Best of all, there is a FREE plan on Slack! So you can try every feature that makes Slack great for collaborative work among remote teams. You can even bring the apps you love integrated to your workspace so you don't need to switch between applications so really a timesaver!

Cons

What i least liked about using Slack is the interface. It might be a bit overwhelming for someone who has not been used to a chatroom where you have different channels, and where do you actually start? Although having a programmer background, I get accustomed to different interfaces quite quickly.

Wonderful tool for every team

2018-10-17

Pros

I like how it gets our team out of their emails and all in one place. Things are quickly found by a wide range of ways to fit per user and runs laps around hunting through old email archives. Having slack on all devices is great too, plus the integrations with 3rd party apps is hard to beat. Whatever we have thrown at Slack it keeps coming back with more, so our team has been very glad we have been using it.

Cons

File management could be a little better similar to how MS Teams does it, but then again they have the power of Sharepoint behind it.
