Pros

Quick synching and the ability to organise folders and sub-folders is great. Overall, a decent program and certainly useful for small businesses such as myself.
What I like best about this software is its ease of use and integration with Microsoft products and services.
This allow my team members files to be in its own "space" and this was a good thing. This was what I liked about the OneDrive but.

Pros

It's my go-to for backup and storage, and offers great solutions for file-sharing and transfer, too. Built-in encryption is also good, meaning good security and privacy options.
I love the ability to designate some files as favorites and that is a sort function so I can quickly find what I'm looking for.
MEGA It is really the perfect solution for cloud storage, excellent integration with other programs and websites, and it supports all operating systems with a high level of security.

Cons

OneDrive has changed in 2021 and this change has brought about headache for all. No syncing because the OneDrive is locked and awaiting action by users who has no idea as to what is wrong.
Where do I begin, it constant instability, it is very hard to use use, sharing process and access permission are coming from hell and the version control is simply sadistic.
The most problem I have as a user is the sync problem, sometimes it gets stuck and you have to restart your computer.

Cons

Massive download errors: every time I had to download very large files the software would freeze and I could not restart it. I didn't have any tool to optimize downloads to avoid errors.
I need to stay on the MEGA webpage on the download process, and if i change to the other tab, the download process will be halt and worst, i had to start the download process from the beginning.
Unfortunately I doubt about the security. I've lost ALL data I saved to mega.

Easy to use and convenient but a bit expensive

Reviewed 3 years ago

Even though I enjoyed using Onedrive because of its ease of use and easy setup on PC I had to switch to an alternative that offered me more storage space for free and more storage space at a premium compared to Onedrive.

Pros

Onedrive is easy to use and setup on any windows PC. The intergration with Windows OS is outstanding compared to other alternatives (Google Drive, Dropbox, Mega etc)

Cons

As compared to other cloud storage service providers, Onedrive is a bit expensive. It offers only 5GB free storage whilst Google gives you 3x more (15GB).

Ottima esperienza

Reviewed 2 years ago

Cons

Non ho riscontrati grandi inconvenienti.

OneDrive

An indispensable cloud solution for the Microsoft ecosystem all companies can rely on.

Reviewed 2 years ago

OneDrive is an excellent cloud storage solution that offers its full potential when used in conjunction with Microsoft Office. Sinc it comes at no extra cost with an Office license, is the way to go for most cost-conscious businesses.

Pros

The main advantage for us is that OneDrive is bundled at no extra cost with your Microsoft 365 license offering space starting at 1TB. Also, the possibility of starting a new Microsoft Office document from within OneDrive is a welcome addition that relies upon the online version of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. This saves time, as this is possible across devices and platforms. If your Office files are backed up in OneDrive you can also explore past versions of a document, and see who did changes to it. Tags in photos are also a welcome addition that helps make sense of large catalogues of image assets.

Cons

The only con I see is that the free version is too limiting with 5GB. Other services like Google Drive give you 15GB in the free tier, Mega goes up to 50GB.

OneDrive - Cloud Storage Built into Windows

Reviewed 5 years ago

It does the job if you are locked in the Microsoft ecosystem. Otherwise, there isn't any reason to stick to it.

Pros

It is well integrated into Windows 10 (made by Microsoft, duh). Fast and easy setup. Sharing files is a breeze.

Cons

Only 5GB of cloud storage for free tier. Pricing for their 100GB is $2 per month, while MEGA is 400GB for ~$5.50. Interface is not as "fresh" as Google Drive.

OneDrive

The best paid option for cloud storage

Reviewed 4 years ago

One Drive is fast, secure and with a high level of integration, making it a great option for those who are willing to invest some money in cloud storage.

Pros

OneDrive almost always uses all my internet bandwidth, since Microsoft's servers are among the best on the internet today. Another advantage of being a Microsoft product is that OneDrive has full integration with the Windows ecosystem, especially with Office. For the user who is willing to pay to have more storage, OneDrive has the best cost-benefit among the great cloud storage services.

Cons

For free users, OneDrive is not very attractive, since it offers little storage space, and there are more generous services when it comes to free gigabytes, such as Google Drive and Mega.

OneDrive

It's good

Reviewed 5 years ago

It's a good software, much better than google drive. I would highly recommend this software if anyone needs to upload files which they want to share or backup.

Pros

One drive is an online cloud storage software which allows individuals to upload files online via online storage drives. One drive provides you a large amount of storage space to upload larger than usual files and gives you the ability to buy more if necessary. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially since it's owned by Microsoft; a well known and trusted company.

Cons

It doesn't provide much features like mega and dropbox do. It also lacks a design which looks good. You must also pay for more storage once you're all out which can be seen as money grabbing.

It's like a flash drive but you can access it from anywhere and you will not lose it so easily

Reviewed 6 years ago

The service of backup of attachments sent by mail allowed me to obtain files that I thought lost

Pros

Automatically organize the file types or you can organize them creating folders, you can share folders or files in specific, you can create public links to them, to have a team with some microsoft will help you to create backups of your photos, videos, files, etc.

Cons

Compared with other services, the storage capacity is low (only 5GB), For some time now the services of outlook.com have been slow compared to other services such as MEGA or Google Drive, it does not seem to be internet speed or lack of resources on the pc, which makes it somewhat cumbersome to look for some file especially if you have a lot of information

OneDrive

You can have all your documents at hand at any time.

Reviewed 6 years ago
Pros

I tried OneDrive approximately and never thought that it was going to become an important part of my day to day. It is basically a mega cloud, where all the information you want to store is stored. As a student, I spend a lot of my time at the university, so at any time I need to access information that I left on my home computer, because with OneDrive, synchronizing my pc, with my cell phone, I can access it comfortably and fast anywhere to all the information I have stored in my cloud. It is quite worth paying for this great application.

Cons

The only problem or complaint I could say about One Drive is that the space that allows you to store in the free version, seems a bit scarce, but that is a very personal opinion, the rest an excellent service.

Big Attention

I delete the files. It's just another wetransfer, don't take it as a cloud because you'll wake up without cracking. I do not recommend if you have important documents. I lost my pictures, documents, everything.

Pros

I liked the desktop app, but they will delete the files if you store them there, I don't recommend it.

Cons

They will delete all your files. It only stores files for a short period of time. Better use Google Drive, OneDrive or other clouds so you don't risk your files.e

J.L. MEGA Review

Reviewed 2 years ago

MEGA is a software that I use on a weekly basis due to the fact that I regularly use Google Drive instead, the HCI makes the software really easy to use as a second option.

Pros

There is a preview of what is the name of the folder on MEGA when it is shared to other persons, so myself and others can have an idea of how much information is stored.

Cons

If my free 5GB of storage is full and I need more storage space, I'm forced to either pay for a Premium plan or store the other content on other software like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive. And in most cases, I'm not able to pay for the Premium plan.

Migliore applicazione per mantenere i propri file al sicuro e con tanto spazio a disposizione

Reviewed a year ago
Pros
