SpotBooker overview
What is SpotBooker?
SpotBooker is a web-based booking tool for shared resources: meeting rooms, workspaces, equipment, vehicles and lab instruments.
Functions: public booking page per resource, interactive floor plans, opening hours and slot rules, booking quotas, approval by a manager, recurring bookings, email reminders, automatic release of no-shows (15 minutes by default, adjustable), accessories booked together with a resource, usage statistics with CSV export, CSV/Excel import of resources and bookings.
Integrations and access: sign-in with Microsoft Entra ID (rights mapped to Entra groups) or Google, iCal export and calendar subscription links (read-only). There is no Outlook add-in, no Teams app, no two-way calendar sync and no public API today.
Security: two-factor authentication included, application hosted in London (DigitalOcean).
Pricing per resource with unlimited users: free for up to 2 resources, then $39/month or $390/year for 5 resources, plus $3 per extra resource per month. 14-day free trial without a credit card. Interface in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
