Acuity Scheduling is an online appointment scheduling solution that allows clients to self-schedule appointments or classes online, complete custom forms, receive confirmation notifications and reminders, and pay or donate with a credit card.

With Weave, it's just a nightmare with the customer service and support. And guess what, any settings or setup you want to change, you only have to go through their customer support because whenever you make changes from their web portal, none of it gets actually reflected.

So in short, easy to use given everything is working correctly however customer service DOES NOT resolve the issues they claim to and apparently even if you do a "free trial" of any features, you're still going to get charged and then it's going to take MONTHS of back and forth to get the charges removed. And there is still no guarantee that they have been.

Frequent glitches disrupt workflow

We've been using Weave since June of 2021 and let me tell you, we have had troubles since the day that we went live with our install, and they STILL haven't been fixed.

85% of reviewers feel negative about Bugs and Issues, reporting recurring software glitches, connectivity problems, and system crashes. Users say updates often introduce new bugs, causing disruptions in messaging, phone service, and app performance. They mention that technical problems can result in lost data, missed messages, or the need for frequent restarts. Slow and inconsistent customer service

Cordless phones always have unresolved issues; broken calls, phones don't work for 30 minutes here and there; customer support only does so much and issues are never resolved.

The UNRELIABLE service, the fact that my texting capability got hacked and then Weave had ME resolve it with filling out forms and couldn't guarantee it wouldn't happen again, and the POOR customer service (had to wait a LONG time to even get anyone on the phone, then was often told "oh, that's not my department" and then I would get a help article emailed to me (which is the same help article I had access to with a quick search before I reached out to support).

It only sends texts to designated cell phones, not just a number listed as "Main" unless you want multiple numbers from the same household to receive texts, which our clients have not been happy about.

I like that that Weave saves me time in the office by easily being able to communicate with patients through a quick text and also being able to communicate with my office team quick and efficiently from anywhere.

Weave has made my job easier by the convenience of communicating with patients and the convenience of being able to see the schedule from home in case there is a snow day, I don't have to risk driving in the snow in order to reschedule patient's. With weave I am able to do that from home.

They decided to initiate the port on a Tuesday during business hours, without asking us first, leaving us with no phone lines for hours and no way for our patients to reach us. When we attempted to contact them to find out what was going on (because we didn't know they were porting our number that day), we were told no port was happening, only to be contacted hours later after the port was completed by the very person we'd been trying to get ahold of all day, stating that the port was complete.

It has cost us money by ways of additional hours of staff having to continually contact weave support and chase down problems.

We’ve been using Weave for our physical therapy practice, and it has been an absolute game-changer. When a catastrophic flood destroyed our clinic, including all our equipment, computers, and phones, Weave truly saved us. Because everything is cloud-based, we were able to stay connected with our patients without interruption.

One thing I liked least about WEAVE was that some sessions felt a bit too long, which sometimes made it difficult to stay fully focused throughout

We upgraded from an old phone system to Weave phones, that are not only nice units and mobiles, but also have the integration with our software.

Although Weave integrates well with our practice management system, we still have to pull up the patients separately from the Weave app, which adds some time to our interactions with patients.

Unfortunately, we have never gotten our call tree to properly work and there isn't a function to automatically place incoming calls on hold.

Being able to pick and choose which services we want is amazing rather than having to pay for a steep package price with lots of features we don't need.

It sometimes is confusing to me, seeing how it sends messages to patients that we rescheduled so I can see how it would be confusing to our elderly patients thanking them for coming in when we rescheduled their appointment.

Wish my signature would show up. If a client has multiple pets scheduled at the same time and they confirm their appointment, it only confirms 1.

We also use them as our fax service, so we were able to drop the old company we were using for faxes.

We love how it integrates with our eaglesoft software so when someone calls I already know all their information before I even pick up the call.

Weave is not integrated with our software as of date and appointment reminders were one of the main reasons I signed up with weave.
