Complex and unintuitive navigation

App Developer

Occasional lag, notifications overload, and a cluttered interface can make navigation and focus challenging.

Administration

Navigation on the file-sharing tab can be cumbersome, e.g., selecting the back arrow takes you back to the first page of the file-sharing tab instead of the page prior.

44% of reviewers feel negative about Teams’ navigation. Users say the interface is cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users or those managing multiple teams and channels. They report that finding specific features, switching between functions, or accessing files can be cumbersome and unintuitive. Reviewers mention that frequent interface changes and a lack of clear guidance make it harder to learn and use the platform efficiently, sometimes leading to frustration and lost productivity.

Inconsistent and overwhelming notifications

General Manager

Has bugs - sometimes loses message history, not synchronizing b/n desktop and mobile apps, not showing the correct status, not sending notifications on time, etc.

72% of reviewers feel negative about Teams’ notification system. Users indicate that notifications can be delayed, duplicated, or missed entirely, making it hard to stay updated on important messages. They find the notification settings confusing and sometimes overwhelming, with too many pop-ups or sounds, and difficulty distinguishing critical alerts from general updates. Reviewers also mention challenges with status changes, cross-device syncing, and the inability to easily manage or clear notifications, which can disrupt workflow.
