3D-Tool overview
What is 3D-Tool?
3D-Tool is a Windows desktop CAD viewer and converter for inspecting, measuring and analyzing 3D models and 2D drawings without the original CAD system. It supports manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, production planning and quality assurance teams.
Tools include dimensions, annotations, cross-sections, exploded views, wall thickness analysis, collision analysis and model comparison. CAD data is processed locally without uploading models to a cloud service.
Basic, Advanced and Premium provide the same viewing, measurement and analysis tools but support different import formats. Advanced adds CAD exchange formats such as STEP, IGES and Parasolid. Premium adds native CAD interfaces and includes the separate 3D-NativeCAD Converter.
Paid editions are available as one-time single-user licenses, with a 14-day trial. The separate Free Viewer opens STL, 3MF and 3D-Tool EXE/DDD files and is free for private and commercial use.
