What I like most about the software is the ability to add your appointments quickly to your google calendar. Its been very helpful with managing which appointments I have up for the week.

Some of the functions are hidden in weird spots - it may make more sense for larger orgs but for small and single traders, managing preferences out of the 'calendar' section is a bit weird.

My favorite appointment scheduler

                                                       Both of these products help me book meetings with clients. So anytime I need to talk to a client on Zoom or even a coffee date, I send out my Calendly or Acuity Scheduling link, they see when I have availability in my calendar and are able to just sign up for a time. It eliminates a lot of back and forth and has been a huge help in client communication.
                                                       Acuity Scheduling is a little more robust. I really like that it allows me to have multiple different types of calendar availability based on the types of appointments that I'm sending out. So for example, I have a client scheduler calendar that has certain days that I'm available for clients, but then I also have a personal calendar, so if I want to send out a link to a friend or somebody else that isn't necessarily needs to be within certain business hours and has more availability to me and my time. So, it's a little more robust and has a lot more features for more advanced options.
                                                       Calendly is best for ease of use. The backend platform is actually really easy to use, it's easy to set up. It looks really nice, it's less clunky. There's less features, but it's more streamlined, so it's a lot easier to use and get set up right away.
                                                       Calendly was super easy to get set up with right away, it's a very easy to use platform. Acuity does take a bit longer on the backend of things to really get it up and running and get it set up as well as you probably want it to be, but once it's set up, it's pretty easy to use as well.
                                                       My biggest considerations when choosing between the two would just be how advanced do you really need it to be? Also, if you have a Squarespace membership, you can actually get Acuity for free. So if you want more of the upgraded options, Acuity's a great option for you. But whether or not you need multiple different availability types, multiple different types of calendars, that would be my biggest difference between the two and how quickly you need it to just be up and running.

                                                       Calendly and Acuity they are scheduling apps. They're really beneficial if you have an online business, even if you have clients that book appointments with you, this can be beneficial as well. And what I've used it for is for when clients book their wellness breakthrough call with me. It allows them to be able to go online, be able to book it themselves. I've also booked in clients this way as well. And if you do run a business, whether that's online or even in person, this is a very handy tool to have.
                                                       Acuity is best for scheduling online appointments. It's best for, if you have one to one appointments, it's really good for scheduling. I love it because it you can connect it to your Google Calendar, so you don't have to worry about double booking yourself or an appointment. Or if you have some other work task that you have blocked off, you don't have to worry about being double booked for that or accidentally missing an appointment. The other thing that I really like about Acuity is that it can integrate with other platforms and when someone books an appointment with you, they can get a confirmation email from you. And then from there, basically it helps them stick to the appointment a little bit better, or show up a little bit better. So it can be beneficial for better show up rates.
                                                       Calendly is best for scheduling appointments as well. What I found was I think there may be a feature that you can connect it with your Google. It's been a while since I used Calendly. But it's really good for scheduling your appointments as well, whether that's online. At the time I wasn't using it to book in person or one to one appointments with clients, it was more for their wellness breakthrough call. And it's a really good tool to use, or at least to start out with. And the one thing you can also do is you can set up other appointments in Calendly as well, just like you can with Acuity. The only thing that it didn't do was doing a confirmation email when clients or someone booked an appointment with me.
                                                       Both of these products were fairly easy to set up. Calendly has a free option, which is very easy to start with, especially if you are a little tight on funds and you're kind of working with the budget as you're growing your business. So Calendly might be something you can start with. And Acuity is really good, too. They have a free trial that you can try out and then they have a monthly subscription after that allows you to basically use all of their features as well. I can't remember if there was less features in the free trial, I don't think there was. But anyways, Acuity's very easy to set up as well and you don't necessarily need a website to set up your Acuity. You can basically just use it to book your appointments, which is very handy to have. And they both don't require a website, which is pretty cool. People will see your appointment link and they will click on the link or you can send people who you're booking an appointment with the link and they can book it from there or wherever you put that link. If you do have a website, they can book it from your or website as well. So very easy to set up and great to use.
                                                       Things you want to look for when you're looking for a scheduling app. You definitely want to make sure that it can integrate with other apps that you may be using. Especially if you're using Google Calendar or you're using Asana. You want to make sure that it can integrate with these apps so that you're not having double appointments, like you don't want to double book yourself, because that's a lot of stress that you don't need, right? So make sure that it can integrate with either Google Calendar or Asana, if you use that.
                                                       The other thing you want to look for is the cost. If you're working with more of a budget, you'll definitely want to go with Calendly just because they do have a free version and the free version, you may only be able to use I think one link have one link, which, but you can set up other ones and just have them clicked off, like not active. And you can just use that one link if that's your one call link or if that's your booking link for one to one appointments and that's the link that you would use as you're starting out. Until, maybe you can fit Acuity more into your budget. Acuity's not that expensive per month. It's actually pretty reasonably priced. And Acuity, it's about, I'd say, 20-ish a month. It depends.
                                                       The other thing too is when you are using an app like Calendly or Acuity, the other things you want to look for in those apps are, is it easy to set up? So if you're going to use these apps, they're both like I said, very easy to set up. I had no problem setting them up. It took maybe 15, 20 minutes, half hour of time, maybe tops just to set them up. So very user friendly. Once you get going, using them and get the hang of it, which takes no time you'll see how simple it is to use as well. And it'll be a great benefit for your company and especially helping you connect you with clients as well.
