We are creating a scheduling software for pharmacy owners and I like the fact that it allows us to book an appointment for any available calendar instead of choosing the calendar manually.
It has most of the features we needed. We are using their API to develop software for Pharmacists and we like the fact that it is HIPAA compliant. We are still in the developing phase yet to explore many of the features. So far it fits our needs.
Their API doesn't support many features. We mainly depend on API and it doesn't support features like creating appointment types.

We can manage a large number of appointments over the course of hundreds of people.
It achieves the main goal of scheduling & calendar management without being incredibly expensive.
The API is a bit messy for us to work with.

A great software I'd recommend you include in your marketing and acquisition funnel.
Acuity Scheduling is an amazing platform if you want to embed a calendar on your website. We were using a lead gen form on our website earlier, that brought many irrelevant leads. When we embedded acuity calendar, it's easy to use interface and effective communication mails/sms helped increase the relevance of leads and improved conversion rates. We did this by transforming out bound calls to google meet calls via acuity..
The pricing could be a little lesser for startups. The api access is only with the highest plan. Otherwise this software is a gem if you want to manage multiple calendars. We only needed one in our case, but with api access.

It's a great "set it and forget it" online scheduling tool that doesn't cost a fortune.
Acuity Scheduling is perhaps the least expensive software that actually functions and works well, as it does one thing exceptionally well: help potential clients book appointments.
As a developer, I was excited about their API ability; however, there's little to no documentation about it, and what's worse is that the information you receive from the API is completely useless as it contains IDs, not any information that you can make use of.

My overall experience with Acuity Scheduling is good, it delivers that you pay for.
I like the integration features that let me connect with my Quickbooks app to schedule payments also with Pipedrive for API workflow automations.
I like the least the UX, it's unnecessarily cumbersome some times (cramped UI with many features at once), other than that it's fine.

Acuity Scheduling has transformed how we manage appointments at our university, giving us useful insights. Its strong reporting features help us spot peak times for student services, allowing better resource use and significantly cutting down wait times.
The platform's strong integration features have created a smooth data system, letting us link appointment data with student performance metrics and gain valuable insights into how support services affect academic results. Its customisable reports help us create detailed analytics on service use, find underused resources, and optimise staffing across departments.
We sometimes face API rate limits during busy times, which can delay real-time data updates and impact the accuracy of our instant reports.

After trying so many plugins & third party apps of scheduling, i came to the limitation with any stage during development. When I tried with acuity & it gives almost all features i want. they also provide WebHooks to track appointment & custom design options. Finally perfect app for scheduling.
- It allows to fetch appointments using API. - It provides webhooks to set our server url to track appointment when someone create/cancel/reschedule appointment. - Great support.
None! Good app. great performance!

Very positive. Definitely a good option for smaller digital businesses and other service based businesses. Plus they have an open api that connects with Zapier so easy to integrate with most anything else you may need.
The 2 things I like most about this software is that it has a lot of native integrations already prebuilt into the system. For example, we use Zoom a lot for our appointments and it took just a few minutes to set up. Secondly, I like how you can set up different categories of schedules with only one email and calendar per person. I've used this not only for my digital marketing agency but have helped friends set this up for many other types of industries including a gym, hair salon, professional coaching and more.
Only thing I wish they would include is different time zone scheduling option with the smallest team plan/ Found that out the hard way, we are adding more people to our team so that won't be too big of a deal breaker but it would be nice.

We were looking for a replacement solution for our booking management platform with very custom needs. We were positively surprised by the number of hidden features that are now super useful to us, such as no-show management, coupons and multiple sessions booking. The API is reliable and simple.
The web browser interface can be complicated to navigate at times because of its unconventional design. The API could benefit from extended features such as retrieving availability for flexible date windows rather than per month.

Good. Easy to use, reliable, set up once and you can forget about it. Highly recommend if you need an external appointment calendar to connect across your various channels!
Acuity is easy to set up, syncs with most other mainstream softwares and platforms, can connect existing ICT infrastructure to popular social media platforms for additional lead capture opportunities, and is affordable. That pretty much sums up our decision making process!
N/A. Would have loved if the Square family / social media platforms allowed 3rd party API integrators to connect our existing solutions that had built-in appointment bookers--but this was an excellent second choice!

I have tried most of the scheduling app and Acuity Scheduling was far the best. I tried Bookeo, Appointy, appointlet, appointment-plus, scheduleOnce, vCita and many others. I spent literally hours of searching for the best one, until I stumbled upon Acuity Scheduling (I found it on Zapier, as I was looking for an appointment scheduling app that could be connected with other app I use). So far I am more than happy with choice that I made because I can also see that they care about their customers and provide new integrations and possibilities (now also connecting with GoToMeeting).
Apart from many native integrations, Acuity Scheduling enables you to use their API and to further connect with hundreds of apps using Zapier. If I wanted to integrate it with Affiliate tracking, it would be really easy, as I can also enable custom scripts on the confirmation pages.
No cons on my part. They could improve CRM database, but in my opinion it is almost better to connect it with full CRM service.

Acuity Scheduling is probably my favourite piece of software that I use in my business.
Acuity is incredibly simple to set up. The user experience has clearly been at the forefront of the development. There is also an API, with pretty good documentation. And my favourite part is that if you get stuck, the support team are friendly, responsive and more than happy to help!
There are a couple of feature requests I have submitted that I would like added. But they are very much outliers in terms of functionality.

I had tried several hosted applications this was the only one that met all my needs... 1. Facebook - I can show the same booking system on my Facebookpage and my website 2. Easy intrigration from a simple copy and paste iframe script to a proper dynamic 'button to book' 3. Helpful and friendly support staff who even extended my trail period because I had not finished playing with the scripts 4. Easy to use API 5. Loads of customisation options
Customisation, easy to embedd and write custom coce to display calendar on my website
No cons except no shared login with Joomla - I have got round this by disabling the login inside Acuity and just use Joomla

The platform works really well for us. We don't really use the bells and whistles but it works perfectly for what we want to do which is scheduling our tattoo artists.
It does what we need it to

Cons: It's a little clunky to set up Pros: There is pretty much nothing this app can't do. I unwittingly threw quite a few curve balls (e.g., providers in different international time zones with different schedules) and, with help from tech support, I was able to do everything I needed to do. Customer support is very responsive and incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and doing a lot of the setup for me. My understanding is the interface is being re-vamped, and with a simpler user interface built on top of their already powerful engine, I suspect it will be one of the best scheduling systems out there.

We bought this to schedule 30 minute meetings for our consulting company with the higher level execs, one of the main features that we wanted was pre-approved booking which not a lot of scheduling companies have. Connor & John were extremely helpful in getting this up and running, we now have to verify all new meeting requests, and our pre-approved registered users can book meetings directly into our executives calendars. The Google / Outlook sync's are great too, being able to tie into the existing schedules made it pretty much a no brainer. The setup wizard was straight forward, we had it up and running in half an hour and were comfortable with it by day 2. Not a real learning curve with these guys. Simple, elegant and to the point. Thanks again John & Connor

Scott and Connor have been life savers for us for the last month, while trying to learn how to effectively use your system, for our needs!!! We want to spend our time pleasing customers not wasting time messing around with our scheduling system I think the best part about using onsched is the new business we're getting. I didn't realize how effective email marketing was. It's pretty cool when we're...
AMAZING!! customer service Really great system that met all of our needs It's actually brought us new business
There's a few things that are a little bit confusing in the portal that take a little bit of getting used to. Or maybe it was just us.. One other thing that was annoying was a little bug with uploading images. I'd always have to upload images twice for them to work.. kind of a pain
