I have had an extremely good experience with Acuity. Because it blends so well with Square, it's perfect to allow customers to block-out appointments, and pay at the time they are making their appointment.
Easy and customer friendly to set-up. Easy for the customer/user to use. Easy to provide 'package' offers where the customer can pay for a discounted package of appointments, then the customer gets emailed a Code number, that they then use when they log-in to block-out a future appointment. When it's time for the customer to pay for the appointment they are blocking out, and the software asks them to pay, there is a field where the customer can type in the code they were emailed (when they bought the package of pre-paid appointments). Acuity also gives you a custom URL (and if you want it, a QR code) that customers can go to to make an appointment.
There's a fee for Acuity, and Square takes a percentage of the transaction. It would be nice if, there was a way that the fee for Acuity could be dropped if the percentage taken from the transactions covered a certain amount, so we don't feel like we're paying twice for the services.

This software is easy to use on both mobile devices and PCs. The ease of use and functions makes setting up a appointments a breeze. I love that it is linked to Square as well for payments.
I was unable to find a function to pay after my free trial was up but a little cruising through solved that issue

I like this scheduling software better than Square. It has more options and setting up time between appointments is easy. Blocking off time is simple. Setting up automated emails is simple. So far it's pretty great overall.
I like that it's integrated right into my website and I don't have to go to another platform for my schedule.
The integration option for adding what's scheduled on Acuity to my iCal is not as seamless as I'd like. It has to be done manually every time someone books with me. If I forget to do that step I end up double booking my professional and personal life. It would be great if there was a seamless integration for when folks schedule and cancel so that it's not an extra step on my end.

If you are a small business owner and need to schedule people on a regular basis, Acuity is THE way to go about it. I love how easy it is to set up appointments and embed it on my website. My clients can easily schedule their appointments and even pay for it (Thanks to acuity and square integration). I can't recommend acuity enough.
I just wish there is a way to customize the booking page clients see even more.

The pros are that everything is right there and easy to use. The con is, I'd like to add the "fake busy" time like square appointments uses. Which shows as if there were booked times through out the day to create scarcity.

Acuity is like a personal assistant that can take appointments without me telling it to.
There are a lot of calendar scheduling tools out there, but Acuity has so many features and is pretty straightforward to use. I like that I'm able to have private links I can send for specific offerings that I don't want to be published on my bookings page, and the interface/dashboard makes finding information or changing information quick and painless.
I wish their Android app had more options, like creating new types of appointments, editing appointments, etc.

As a sole trader trying to start my own business, Acuity has really helped me organise bookings and save time trying to tee up times with clients. Pricing is also very competitive compared to other similar products.
Have had issues integrating with social pages as well as syncing with Square. Still trying to resolve a Square integration issue.

Overall good If use free trial make sure set up right before subscribing as can’t amend otherwise unless on a paid system.- but admin sorted this for me

I'm solving any scheduling, Canceled or rescheduled appointment issues. Less phone calls.
This software easy to use. Free trial to test out the product before purchase.
The consistent reminder to purchase weekly. Once trial is up allow customers to decide to continue. Being kicked out of setting up appointments, time and pricing when setting up schedules(makes you start from the beginning each time. Need to accept deposits through the app with cash app or zelle to also not just square.

I am not in love of this app but it definitely worth trying as it has features that will help for scheduling and get reminders of payments at low price but not lowest.
I loved the ease of use and integration with goigle calender that helps me sync my Google appointments with Acuity scheduling app. Secondly, I can book and send branded reminders to my co workers and clients. Lastly, its most useful feature that I use specially for clients who forget to pay on time. Its payment acceptance feature that enable me to accept payment from stripe and paypal.
Need to learn css to customize the branding for appointments Searching for previous appointments is cumbersome and exhaust lots of time to figuring out.

Ease of scheduling appointments.
I love that I can create different types of appointments, add in the values and time limits and create links on my FB and website for my clients to do online bookings.
I can't say that I've found anything particular that I don't like about the software as it's met all my needs thus far.

Ease of use. Compared to other softwares, scheduling is easy for clients and personnel. It also integrates well with different website builders.
I wish there was some sort of discount for syncing with square. Since square owns acuity you’d think they would make the website integration a bit easier.

This software is a great bonus to have for our organization. It allows our whole organization to see what all of our different locations have scheduled without being overwhelming. Everything is color coded perfectly and the site is very user friendly.
When adding a client, they are able to edit their appointments which does not work for our agency. Our agency sets our clients appointments and we cannot enter our client's email address into Acuity or it will give them access to edit their appointments.

In my advisory business outside of my working hours I am doing very well, since my clients can schedule their appointments, saving time, as well as having other features such as calendars, meeting alarms.
So far everything is going well with this application. In general: Great help for managing appointments and easy to use.

I love the functionality and how much it helps a business get organized, process paymeents and plan ahead. It has plenty of options that will fulfill most of your business needs. It is certainly a complete utility software that can help a lot in every business that require scheduling and payments.
Its hard to understand and takes time to make changes. Someone in the business needs to be specialized in keeping up with it. Lots of work

I would like to send a direct text to client (not a a scheduled time) as reminder and option is not available. Also I would like to see an option for taking a dollar amount for certain appointments before booking and other appointments having different options

I wanted an easy to use free scheduling app that anyone could use.
My page was nice looking once I was able to get some help through tech support for the page. I was able to ad some pictures to personalize it more.
I had some challenges getting changes made and also when I attempted to add content to the mobile and web version I had to call tech support or chat with them.

This has a fanstastic scheduling interface. It's super clean, easy to use, the payments are seamless...it's wonderful! The bonus features offer all you could ask for in a scheduling software.
The price tag. That's the only con I could find with Square Appointments. The organization I work for is on a tight budget, but I'm sure one day I'll return to this scheduler, because it's amazing.

Square has come a long way with its scheduling software. Guests constantly compliment our business on its simplicity and ease-of-use.
My con would be that Square Scheduling is not very feature rich, and does not accommodate the demands of a full-service salon well.

It is convenient if you are already using square register as a point of sale. Online booking is also nice.
Overpriced. There are much better scheduling software that are easier to use and cost less. Online booking page isn't as customizable as it could be.

Overall love square appointments way more than other scheduling apps we’ve used. It is the easiest and most customizable.
User friendly, easy to edit, easy to customize in general appointments. Individual appointments are easy to customize but a little more time needed.
The app glitches when it comes to the required cc on file. Even if that option is selected in settings, some clients somehow still bypass it. This is a big deal when they are new clients and end up being a no show.

I like it overall because of the fact that scheduling and invoicing are on the same platform. But it's a little confusing while setting it up.
Having both appointment scheduling and invoicing on the same platform, the option to embed the scheduler on website
It definitely has a learning curve on setting the availability for different appointments. When I change availability for one service, the other services also reflected the changes which is not what I wanted. It took me a long time to figure out.
