You can launch a fully operational PostgreSQL cluster in the cloud and region of your choice in minutes. You'll have access to premium features, such as Point in Time Restore, database forking, connection pooling, Terraform/ Kubernetes tooling and more. There are over 70 PostgreSQL extensions available, including TimescaleDB.
With Aiven for PostgreSQL, you don’t need to worry about taking backups or applying maintenance updates. All this is done automatically - with no downtime. You can upgrade to a new version, increase the storage of your cluster, expand to new regions or migrate to a different cloud, with a click of a mouse and again with no downtime. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and clusters are always run on dedicated virtual machines. The service is ISO27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA and PCI/DSS compliant.
