What is Disa*Lab?
Disa*Lab is an on-premise laboratory information system (LIS) that helps healthcare and pharmaceutical organizations manage laboratory workflows related to auditing, reports management, quality control, sample tracking, and more from a unified platform. It lets administrators configure user access rights, manage multiple workstations, access central data repositories, and create worksheets.
Disa*Lab allows medical assistants to manage billings as well as accounts receivable, monitor workloads, register specimens, review test results, and create customized reports for Pathology, External Quality Assessments (EQA), Tuberculosis (TB), Veterinary, Clinical, and other labs. Staff members can utilize the DisaStock module to monitor inventory, track lot expiries, and manage other laboratory stock processes. It also allows employees to set up batch registration screen layouts, automate reflex testings, generate histology summaries, access patient records, and create barcode labels for containers.
Disa*Lab allows laboratory assistants to register patient referrals, defer tests to labs, create lab automation interfaces, manage doctors’ profiles, and extract data in multiple formats, such as Excel and OpenOffice.
