Paychex is not very helpful, be aware of the actual charges as Paychex has a lot of hidden fees that is not disclosed. And they will lock your account and will not provide records for you until it’s paid.

You are assigned an account advisor that you are never able to contact directly and must play voice-tag when you have questions.   When I am calling, I am spending the time to get an immediate answer and the process gets dragged out much longer than necessary.   If you want an immediate answer, you are then put on hold to speak to the next available agent.   Since they are not as familiar with your account, in my opinion, there is a higher risk that you will receive an incorrect answer which happened to me on multiple occasions which made undoing the correction even worse.

The system is cumbersome and dated, the customer service is a nightmare and it is impossible to keep track of all of the different points of contact they give you, they don't even know who does what within the organization, and you will work harder to just manage the relationship than you will to manage your people.
