Pros

The seamless process of managing the events, seminars or webinars, is truly amazing and super quick. It manages to remove the hassles from the POV of the admin.
I love how easy it is to search for events, how easy it is to RSVP, and how everything is visible in your account (and is also sent to your email for extra ease).
What I like most about the Eventbrite platform is how user friendly it is to create the events and the ease for those purchasing to make their purchase.

Pros

Very pleased with service. Love the report generator and the ability to customize service.
It has been good so far with a few frustrations of not understanding the ticket setup. Customer service has been pretty responsive.
This software has great ticketing features, and the tracking tools that go with it are very helpful to gain demographic research for any event.

Cons

The event management UI was slow and awkward to use. I did have a couple of periods of site outage that caused me some pain.
The worst part is they froze our payouts without telling us, until one day we noticed the lack of deposits and logged into Eventbrite to find it.
The lack of customer service during the pandemic was frustrating. Also, the percentage Eventbrite takes for ticketed events is higher than other companies.

Cons

The fees charged by transaction are too high, which is why I use the platform only when absolutely required.
Setting ticket sales dates do not work accurately and are off by DAYS. Ticket sales quantities are no longer registering and have caused issues with overselling, thus having to manually refund.
We had problems with creating a way for our players to sign up for individualized training.

It worked at first but then we had a bunch of no shows to our events and had to switch to eventzilla so that we could get more information from the customers.

Pros

It was very easy to use. And the feature of uploading events to eventbrite from Facebook was great.

Cons

You cannot add questions to be asked when customers purchase a ticket. We needed more information, the child's name, age, phone number etc.

Our organization uses the tickets for dinner events, courses, and gift cards. We are limited in what we can raffle and be supported with.

Pros

Ease to setup account, create organization tailored tickets, and be live within minutes. Important to have Eventzilla review your business as well as whoever who choose to do the credit card transactions. Some types of transactions are not supported by every card processor and can be disappointing to find-out later when you have a ticket live that it gets shut down. Core value proposition for our org is we are too small and too few transactions to get into a merchant account cost effectively....so the pay as you go model is ideal.

Cons

We found no major issues. We did review EventBrite and Picatic (now part of EventBrite).

I have been using Eventzilla for over 15 events. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. But, it could be better.

Pros

User friendly, Structured Layout for event page and way better than EventBrite :)

Cons

1. Server is rather slow (I am based in Malaysia) 2. New layout is okay, but lost its focus for 2 elements: Event Logo (too small), Available Ticket (this is crucial, as Available Ticket is used to create urgency. The font size is not as prominent as before. ) 3. Chinese characters support. <- Come on...........really.

I had a problem with funds from ticket sales being available before the event date launch....which is important if ticket sales are a primary revenue base to pay entertainment

Pros

The software was very easy to navigate and I especially enjoyed the ease of use of the invite. Everything linked up perfectly , there were no errors at all related to functionality.

Cons

I would have to say in comparison to Eventbrite , Eventzilla wasn't as connected to the google search engines as immediately as Eventbrite. I expected to be live on the web search engines much sooner then I was.

Slightly cheaper than eventbrite. Does all the basic things required for a ticketing site..

Cons

Booking fees per ticket are too high for a software product. Some parts are clumsy interface with too many steps to get to important things, like edit/preview an event, changing ticket end date. Have had various complaints from customers not able to process fees on paypal. The customer service repsonded but couldn't find anything wrong.

Pros

We're actively looking into using Eventbrite. Having a pretty map isn't worth all this headache.

Pros

Being able to use an image in the seating reservation map

Cons

Their system had a bug where confirmed bookings weren't being marked as unavailable to new users, meaning every seat would open up for double booking after being purchased. After babysitting our event orders for duplicates and getting no response from support over the weekend, we finally got a response that they fixed it. So far they've offered no explanation and haven't actually fixed our existing orders being open to duplicates.

Eventzilla organizers pay substantially lower fees than on Eventbrite, and Eventzilla has all the features I need.

Cons

One feature it's lacking is the ability to transfer an attendee to a different event. I don't need that so often, so it's not a big problem.

I really loved Eventzilla. It was simple and straightforward and I thought their fees were more reasonable than Eventbrite.

Cons

I guess I did not like that the platform was a little overwhelming in the sense that there were so many links.

Eventzilla is extremely easy to use and easy to customize. The registration reports are robust. This is my favorite tool on the market. Much better than eventbrite

Cons

Wish we could print custom name badges and have a digital check-in app from Eventzilla. QR codes would be helpful as well.

Pros

How about: it's less expensive than Eventbrite? But then it discourages my prospects from buying, so not even a lesser cost qualifies as something I like "most"

Cons

many times when prospects click on the link, it does not process correctly. The more motivated prospects then email or call and tell me that it is not working and send a check instead. Of course it does work, you just need to repeat click, but that's not how other packages work. I don't hear from the less motivated prospects

Eventzilla is has all the options I need for online event registration. But the best thing is probably the price. Especially when compared to Eventbrite. I like the white label options too.

Cons

It takes some time to figure you the admin interface. Certain elements of the front and backend feels a bit dated. I don't like how tiny and wide the details section is.

Six Events Experience

Although this service will improve and has potential to be very good, I would recommend you look at other programs such as Eventbrite and take some notes from their business model. They are very efficient and work very seamless without lag. Although I like your event customizing much better than Eventbrite, the rest has been just off mark. Again, I am sure you will improve over time with feedback such as this.

Pros

Great promise with intuitive layout and customize able layout.

Cons

Reports and real time operation. When a report is ran, it should be able to be opened within a minute or less. Not be told that it will be emailed when ready. Sometimes it took a few minutes, other times, it took hours or never was emailed. Changes when customizing the event were not quick and sometimes had to wait 5 minutes or more for them to lock in, even after refreshing the cache. Payments would need to post before tickets were issued, and constant complaints from customers that would not receive their tickets and verified by us as well. Real time purchasing information was a let down as well as the app.

We have used Eventzilla for 6 events in the past year and with only one exception (a personal development conference with 17 breakout session choices) Eventzilla was easy to set up and use. The mobile app was also very easy to check attendees in with.

Pros

Eventzilla is very easy to setup and the payment options are simple to implement. Fees are also very reasonable and less than other services like EventBrite. We also like the mobile ticket, QR code, and printout options.

Cons

For complex events (with multiple tracks or breakout sessions) Eventzilla doesn't always do what you need it to do.

It was simple to use as a first time user, the pricing and plans were pretty straightforward and devoid of any hidden "gotchas" and it did exactly what I had hoped for in helping to manage my event

Cons

Some features were not available that I have used in other things (such as Eventbrite) and the price could be on a more tiered basis based on what features I needed versus what other capabilities they offered

Pros

Ability to beautifully embed auto-updated HTML on our website. Chose Eventzilla for attractiveness and ability to brand along with easy integration with MailChimp.

Cons

I wish there was more traffic from those browsing available events. EventBrite seems to do a better job. We've had some buggy issues that most of the time customer support would help via chat/email reasonably quickly.

I'm using Eventzilla to register attendees to business meetings. Sometimes I can find what I'm looking for (like limiting the number of attendees one person can register) and sometimes I can't. Things need to be more straightforward - rather than clicking anything I can find on a webpage, I'd like to have all options available upfront.

Pros

I've been using Eventbrite for the last several years and got tired of it having a mind of its own. Eventzilla also seems to change things for no reason though, so I will use it this year until it frustrates me.

Cons

It seems to take a long time to implement changes, and sometimes changes things on its own.

Great alternative to EventBrite

Overall I like EventZilla better than EventBrite. Not only for the cost (we are an official non-profit and giving even a small % is a lot to us), but also for the number of features that we get for that cost. Additionally, adding different types of tickets is really helpful because we can accommodate certain scenarios with our students without having to manually manage different, common ticket scenarios (e.g., reduced cost).

Pros

I used EventBrite, but switched to EventZilla and continued to use EventZIlla because I feel the following is a better value for my money: - Seemingly more features - More customization of my event - Better admin/management features of the individual events as well as the account as a whole - Analytics on events

Cons

- Setting up the payment was a little bit "round about" in understanding how to do so - Refunding/Canceling orders was confusing. The help document did not provide enough clarity. - Inability to transfer registrations between events without refunding money.

Event Management Multi-Tasking Support

Fast, intuitive setup; great support from CHAT; lot of great features... so far, so good!

Pros

I was looking for software that would support multiple events (workshops and webinars) and allow me to manage complex registrations (several promo codes) as well as send reminders to attendees without me having to remember. This system solved that. I got up and running within a couple of hours setting up 4 events. Had a few questions but CHAT support addressed them the next day. So, it supports complex needs yet is fairly intuitive to use.

Cons

Like anything, I'd like to get the "biggest bang" for my buck. It is less expensive per ticket sold than Eventbrite but since I am just starting, have yet to see how it is "in action". At a certain point, I'd prefer to pay by subscription rather than per ticket if sales increase.

Great Alternative for Eventbrite, But Lacking Ease of Use

We are seeing more engagement and orders with Eventzilla than our previous platform. We're glad to see the uptick and we think by using the newer features they offer, we can increase attendance even more.

Pros

Eventzilla charges lower fees per transaction than Eventbrite, so that was a huge draw for us to make the switch. We love that the service emails us every time someone orders a ticket -- really helpful for staying on top of our event. The layout of the published event is simple and allows users to quickly get the information about the event they need.

Cons

A few things could be improved on this service, but overall we're happy. The one major thing we don't love is that there are too many tabs on the left hand navigation to update and design your event. The software claims to be super quick and easy but it's definitely more clunky and has a more difficult navigation than other event services we've used.
