Great for scheduling and management!
There are many great features and reminders to keep everything on schedule and updated in a timely manner.
Sometimes there can be errors in the app regarding appointments and it can be hard to clear it.

Positive experience. I appreciate how customer service can walk me through issues in a timely manner.
This software is easy to install and has great customer support if you have questions. It simplifies booking appointments, adding inventory, taking payments and scheduling.
This software does take a few hours of tutorials to understand and new people have to be trained to use it.

MindBody is fantastic, and even after using it frequently for several months, I don't think I've even used half of its functions. Anything can be done, and technology is always helpful.
I like the fact because it is practical and very effective. However, the use of this software makes timely visitor check-in incredibly simple.
Sometimes it's really challenging to secure spots and keep track of the calendar. would frequently disconnect.

Mindbody has been great with getting the business out there with the location selection and really pushing our intro specials to the front.
The mobile app is extremely easy to navigate on the user and business ends. Easy to make teacher substitutions, get people checked in and check your basic sales numbers. The flex pricing option is also a really great way to experiment with pricing in your city.
Customer service is lacking. It was quite difficult to get a change of address in a timely manner. I feel as though for the price you pay customer service could certainly have a faster response time.

I like all the options that are available - I can turn on and off according to what works best for my business.
Reports can be a challenge and confusing, but attending MBU has helped. Over the years support has been tougher to get a hold of-but it's still timely and effective (just not as quick as it used to be).

Being a front desk employee I frequently had to engage with customers to look up class schedules for them, get them booked into classes they were interested in, and handle payment for classes or massages. The MINDBODY system was always very efficient in these tasks and I feel it is optimized for this type of business (spa, massage, yoga studio, etc.). It was very rare that I had to have customers wait while I tried to figure things out because the interface always felt intuitive and this software seemed to have all the options I could hope for.
This software makes it very easy to check in guests in a timely manner, apply relevant coupon codes, check existing balances, and quickly add items to a guests order. The interface is very intuitive and I feel that I was able to quickly learn it and teach it to new employees. Price modifications and discounts for employees or other special circumstances were very easy and quick to enter.
I found that a couple times there were multiple entries in this system for the same guest. Sometimes one of these entities had a gift card balance or something else that the guest would want us to know about but if we chose the wrong account to look in this would not be immediately clear to us and could cause confusion. It was typically fairly easy to resolve and we were able to consolidate the accounts into one.

MBO helps keep our studio running smoothly. We offer group classes, private sessions, workshops, and trainings, and through MBO, we are able to organize these offerings in a way that makes it easy for staff to program and price and easy for clients to find and register. And, having an easy-to-use related app allows staff and clients to make changes in a timely manner and keeps check-in quick and accurate.
Some of our trainings span multiple days or months, and it is sometimes clunky and time-consuming to program them.

We're using MindBody in a non-standard use case (music school). On the one hand, it's designed for a different type of business, so there's some friction with our use case. On the other hand, it's flexible enough that we've been able to use it for over five years now, and powerful enough that we haven't yet found an alternative that wouldn't rob us of some of the MindBody features that we rely on. As far as the support, they've been communicative when I've needed help. They respond in a timely manner if you need help in a specific case. However, their support forum is full of bug fixes and basic feature requests that have gone unresolved for years. If you need help, they're there for you, but if you need a fix you're out of luck.

I really do like this as a marketing tool for our spa, but I do sometimes feel it doesn't fill our books as it promises. as it should PLUS i feel some of the reports are not always accurate. This has a robust feature set and excellent usability on both client and professional side. Too many online booking systems are cloned copies of one another and lack basic (and obvious) features needed to actually operate a business from. This one stands alongside giants like MindBody and Milano and trumps them in many ways, especially for the cost. Smaller to medium businesses will find this the perfect fit.
Some of the ui features could use refining (mostly availability of functions like client notes while in mobile mode, where you currently must switch to desktop mode to access effectively), but they have consistently rolled out improvements over the year+ I've been with them.

Daily salon life is just easier with TIMELY. TIMELY does everything the larger brands do but at a tenth of the price. Daily, monthly and yearly salon management is a breeze with TIMELY. Clients love the ease of online booking. No need to download buggy apps. Clients are loving the reminder sms. I was a long term MINDBODY user and can't believe I stayed so long using an over priced buggy system because I just didn't know TIMELY existed. Best business decision I've made in the last 5 years is making the change to TIMELY.
After the most recent price hike from MINDBODY I had no choice but to search an alternative. It appeared as if no-one on the market had it all until I found TIMELY. Personally, I needed software that simplified booking my appointments, invoicing, and bookkeeping.
