The S-700 bluepos is the first complete POS software solution from Schultes POS systems. It can operate with any cash register that runs MS Windows and touchscreen PC/tablet devices. The S-700 bluepos app is user-compatible with the S-700 series POS hardware system produced by the same manufacturer. The software can also manage networked S-700 register hardware, and, for example, change master data or call up reports. It can also act as a server for the S-700-compatible apps for smartphones and tablets used to place orders.

The program authenticates operators via a transponder lock, and alternatively, system devices and software can be activated via a dongle. This POS software has functional modules for three sectors: catering, hotel, and delivery services. The hotel module includes room management, check-ins, and for example, check-out functions. The delivery service module supports customer management, order management, call monitoring, driver assignment, and a route planner. The kitchen monitor, an optional module designed for the catering industry, can displays orders and preparation statuses. Software features can be configured to suit specific user requirements.

The S-700 software solution is available as both a standard package and light package, with the lite version lacking customer management, graphic table plans, and order/kitchen printing. Several other optional modules are available— e.g., support for scanners and scales.
