Pros

Customization on this platform is really fantastic and everything is so easily customizable, the user interface is slick and clean and very friendly looking.
My experience with SurveyMonkey has been very impressive over the past several months. I have gleaned wonderful feedback for ways that I can continue to grow my company.
Great tool to gain some quick feedback on anything that may be on your mind. Nice to know what customers are looking for so that I can gear my business to meet their needs.

Pros

The support staff, from the most senior to the more recent, are excellent, courteous and available 24x5. They are most helpful in in real time text exchanges and emails.
It is a huge help in our fundraising events and it allows us to improve our events so we can raise more money for our programs. We like how usable the software is.
From simple survey designs to more complex operations, QP has been an excellent resource. Most importantly the support has been excellent from the outset.

Cons

And completing would give you typically anywhere between 0.5-2. All surveys initially start with a few boring routine questions, which make you pissed off.
The company's take on my dilemma was - "Pay for it" and you'll get the information you need. In my opinion they shouldn't bother having a free version of this software if it functions that poorly.
There should be more protection factors when approving registrations and preventing fraud.

Cons

QuestionPro blamed the missing data on our respondents not filling in the data.
After some back and forth, they let us have it if we paid in bulk for a few months. Then, once we were collecting our data and exporting it, we realised there was missing data.
E-mails are badly formatted, validation is required for surveys with many users and it was not easy, and they have an article talking about using their SDK, but they do not have an SDK available.

QuestionPro

Great product, above average support, so-so billing practices

QuestionPro is a step up from their other product SurveyConsole, and much easier than SurveyMonkey. Reporting is better than most but could use some attention to details. Regarding billing, took 6 months to get a refund from being double billed.

QuestionPro

Consumer market research made really simple

I switched to QuestionPro from SurveyMonkey about three years ago while doing my doctoral research. While the platforms are similar, the casino resorts participating in my research strongly felt that the "Powered by SurveyMonkey" that is stamped on each survey page sounds amateurish. It does! I am currently using QuestionPro to help casino marketing departments nationwide conduct their own satisfaction...

QuestionPro

QuestionPro for survey consultants

I am primarily a software developer (mostly Java for the past decade+ but also do the technical part of web design and have used a range of Java and JavaScript frameworks). In the past three years I have been involved in several survey projects (mostly marketing oriented, from new product research to customer satisfaction to custom one-time surveys for focus groups). In these projects I have used QuestionPro, SurveyMonkey, and two lesser known survey system. And while we were able to successfully complete all of these projects I did develop a preference: my current "go-to" solution is QuestionPro.

Pros

Easy to use, solid support via chat and email.

Cons

The documentation could be better indexed and more thorough. And the handling of conditional logic could be more flexible. But in general, the default conditional logic (without custom JavaScript) is better than the competition.
