What I like least about thunder tix is that it is not at all user friendly! It is difficult to navigate and not intuitive.
Hi Elissa, I'm sorry that you struggled with the challenges. I think this may have stemmed in part by your user privileges; I can see the account administrator had restricted your access to lots of our features. Perhaps one day you'll return with your own events and find that we have a whole lot more and that we're a lot more user-friendly!

Thunder Tix is pretty easy to use. We have some peculiarities with our situation and Thunder Tix made modifications which addressed our needs. I appreciate having a live person answer the phone when I need assistance.

The thing I like most about Thunder Tix is the easy ticket sales for our events that it offers. Back in the day we took phone orders and had to mail out printed tickets. With Thunder Tix the customer orders their own tickets AND is able to prin them right out. And they can even show the ticket on their phone and we just scan it that way. The ease of use to our ticket helpers is also a benefit. We can view a variety of reports and can search within our order by a variety of different options.
There is not too much that I do not like about Thunder Tix. At this time I cannot think of any suggestions for upgrades.

Thunder Tix was super easy to use. I had never used any ticket management software before and it was very easy to navigate and keep track of our ticket sales!
There were no cons for me! My experience was great!

Because of Covid restriction we needed to have reserved seating with distance between our audience members. Thunder Tix made all of this very easy!

Overall our experience with Thunder Tix has been very positive and I would recommend it to any business wanting flexible scheduling and ticketing.
When looking for a ticketing program for our small non-profit performing arts company we needed one that was uncomplicated to set up, user friendly for our patrons and affordable for our non-profit to use. One great feature since we only set up 2-3 events per year is that we can toggle between maintenance and reserved seating when not is use for a really reasonable monthly fee. Their customer service is excellent and very responsive and patient for every question I have had for them. The reports are also very comprehensive during and at the end of an event.
You are restricted to just a couple credit card processors.

We have used Thunder Tix program for the past 5 years and the main thing I found when researching a 3rd party ticketing system is the Thunder Tix Software is easy to set up, learn, and implement into your ticket office system and the flexible, affordable plans they offer. The back end of the program also allows you to capture valuable data about the customers that are buying your tickets.

The radio station was able to refer potential customers to Thunder Tix. It is very user friendly. My staff and myself were able to log in to our account and access important data as well as keep track of those who were attending our event. Not only was it user friendly but it serves as a wonderful data source.
There isn't anything I can think of that I did not like.
You know what, Emily? I like you, too! In addition to giving us a 10 out of 10 and five stars, you shared the importance of having access to your private sales data. Regarding your feedback about user-friendliness, it did not fall on deaf ears! We spent months redesigning our interface to make it easy peasy! I highly recommend Thundertix. It's been bullet-proof and we've never received a customer report of downtime. Allowing us to manage costs is crucial for us. We've had experience with Tix, which was also a solid system, but Thundertix is more flexible and saves us money.
We moved to Thundertix as a way to control our costs in June 2011. Since then, it has been an important key to our business. It streamlined the customer buying experience, it was easy to set up new agents so that we could, in effect, expand office hours, the reports are informative and easy to customize, and customer service has been excellent. The flat monthly rate model works very well for us.
Need some additional fields in the exported reports so that I can get a better feel for who my customers are, where they come from, how many order online as opposed to over the phone, how much I collect in fees, that sort of thing.
Within 30 days of receiving your suggestions for reporting, we added the ability to search orders by sales agent, Facebook or at-home buyers. In addition, we included your ideas to create a more detailed report of the orders export file so that you could easily discern the day and time of sale. More recently, we've expanded the Orders Search feature to include the ability to search by the time of day. Thanks for your ideas!
