Pros

My overall experience has been excellent, and I have used it for another nonprofit and recommended it to a third who adopted it, and all have been more than satisfied with the product and service.
It’s great and I like how you are constantly listening to your community and implementing improvements.
We were able to engage and notify our Membership, especially in the era of Covid 19, with such ease it makes it worth the while to have this software available.

Pros

I am very pleased with the experience with Eventbank. From Willis, their representative in Indonesia, to the support team, the service is very strong.
In addition, the event pages look great which really helps for an organization like ours that doesn't have a website yet.
Value for money and great customer success team to answer any kind of questions to accommodate our business needs.

Cons

The clunky interface was made worse on slow-speed days, whereas other programs were not affected at all.
There were several member files that had the wrong renewal date but we couldn't change them manually. The system would give us error messages.
The editor is worse than worthless. It is hard to believe that anyone thought this was a good idea.

Cons

Unfortunately, we've been unable to cancel our contract - which is somewhat understandable.
Downside would be that it has bug issues during the time I was using it.
The email costs alone make this more expensive than either MailChimp or Squarespace's native mailer feature.

Excellent customer service and easy to use

We have used Wild Apricot for a number of years and moved from a system where staff could not make changes easily. For that reason, Wild Apricot has been fabulous as the customer service really helped us transition where staff can make all the changes required to a website without using a programmer.

Pros

Enormous capability, without any real tech support. Email support from Russia is not helping. We could assist.

Cons

The best solution for the money we pay

It has been a great experience with satisfaction and success. Just a few shortfalls on the way the administration is structure relating to administrative rights has created for us difficulties we cannot resolve. Also, the reporting side is poor and has not been easy for us to satisfy the need of our organization without extensive manual use of spreadsheets, which we sought we would get rid of.

Very Pleased So Far!

Our club started using Wild Apricot in late 2016. While there is a bit of a learning curve for certain things, a lot of things were easy to use and understand right out of the gate. Wild Apricot has also been very responsive to any needs for support that we have had. So far, so good!

We use this for a program with 50 locations and 1200 + members and volunteer leaders globally! It's been easy to set up, maintain and use to support our program with only 2 formal staff members. The WA team answers all questions quickly and the only tools, community and blog are a wonderful asset!

We use Wild Apricot for keeping track of & invoicing our contacts. We find that the site is user-friendly and integrates well with QuickBooks. Also, I was able to create our website from scratch with no former experience. Also, I am able to easily make any changes to our website at any time, from anywhere! Three years using it and hassled us heaps of time and effort ... and accuracy has gone up.

Pros

The automation of administration tasks saves hours of time. The ability to search the data base and set up saved searches is brilliant.

Cons

The cost is difficult to handle when paying Australian dollars ... the exchange rate is not user friendly! With small organisations of > 100 members, this is a real issue.

WA Club software review.

Our club had been using WA for seven years and found if to be very functional and reliable, it's easy to build the Web site and no code is required, this makes it much easier for new webmasters to take over maintenance. Event management and membership areas are excellent. Overall 9 out of 10, the forum functionally is lacking otherwise I would rate it a ten.

I love Wild Apricot

I highly recommend Wild Apricot. The product is dependable, easy to use, great technical support and has really helped us up our visibility.

Pros

I used it as a free account for 2 years while I built up the non-profit. We live in a very economicly challenged area, so I make sure and pass on as much information as I can for our members. Wild Apricot makes it easy to update the pages. I start my days by checking my e-mails and seeing if there is anything I need to put onto our web site. We have a community page and a fundraising page for our members.

Cons

I had a hard time finding things on the web site after their last update.For example I couldn't find where to update my e-mail address. I called their support line and a real person came on the phone to help me; I didn't even have to wait. So maybe the con is my lack of technical ability but Wild Apricot has great support to help even non computer people

We are able to use PayPal and Stripe. Now WA want to charge us 20% more a month unless we switch to THEIR preferred vendor. We have auto renew and this will cause us to lose members, and we do not like the format of their vendor. We were given LESS than 60 days notice and basically told " it;s our way or Tuff" Thousand of small non profits are effected. this really stinks.. DON'T USE WA! Terrible customer service

Impact SA implementation of membership management software

Our implementation of Wild Apricot was very positive as our lists and fields easily transferred into Wild Apricot. Setting the membership levels was a challenge as we discovered that our different payment options created separate membership levels. If we could have simply set up four levels with different payment options it would be much simpler for our members. Wild Apricot support has been fantastic....

Pros

Searches, ability to edit fields and event creation and tracking.

Cons

No ability to set up specific payment plans (i.e. 5 payments, 4 payments). No option to send regrets for an event.

Cost Effective Website and Database

Overall Wild Apricot is a great tool for associations and/or others who need to process dues payments, event registrations and keep up with your clients.

Pros

Wild Apricot makes it easy to process registrations for events, dues payments and store purchases in addition to being a website. It is very easy to use. There are user groups that you can join to get help from other users. Also, it is very easy to create a manual invoice for things that I might need a product for or a registration. There is also an app for administrators which is super convenient when to try to look up open invoices, etc. when away from the office.

Cons

There are several features that should be available that are not. First and foremost there should be the availability within in the software to create a pdf and email it to contacts. The store does not appear to be integrated with the mail database and there are not a lot of reports. When I have orders from my store I have to constantly watch for duplicates. There is also not an email report to run that will search for possible duplicates in the system.

Flexible and easy to use

Pros

This program allows you to keep track and manage members which is a huge plus. We have so many at one time is can be hard to keep track of. Being able to put event information and work through the website it great!

Cons

The interface is a bit old and dated, could you a touch up for making the site appeal more and ease of use.
