The team were very helpful with helping adjust the custom pages, assisted with html coding, answers all questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us with the website build.

One other issue is that YourMembership is so big that our needs as a small trade association will likely never be considered for implementation.  

Some dislikes include the website (I'm not an html coder; this should be easier); integration with QuickBooks; inability to dedupe or merge nonmember records; too few renewal reminder options; customer service.

YourMembership is almost entirely customizable, and their support team is always available to help. Once setup, I save hours a week by pulling customizable dynamic reports and by reviewing the critical information on the dashboard.

The reports are a great tool to use for pulling special member reports.

She even suggested work arounds for some of the things we wanted the system to do but wasn't designed to do.

The website build is pretty time consuming, but I don't have anything that I could say negative about the implementation time.

I would spend a lot of time to update the event registrations post event.

Some of the functionality seems antiquated compared to other web products out there.

Using it for the last 3 years but wanting to find a better solution for our members managment.

The website and association management are the most useful elements.  

I cannot duplicate a campaign and the HTML editor and preview show the page differently than when it is sent out.

It does not integrate with tools we use most.

Design capabilities are very limited unless you know code very well.

Very happy with YourMembership.   As stated earlier, easy to use and manage and great event management options.

It is simply too outdated for us to use effectively.

Additionally, while the website has a plethora of features, many of them can be "hidden" in places that you would not go to check right away.

Our not very complex design for Home page and additional pages is already past the one anniversary !

Provides me an easy way to review dues and donation payments.  

Currently you are limited to searching the five specific fields that are preset.

The accounting side of YM is sorely lacking, as it membership tracking.

YourMembership is a comprehensive solution for small to mid-size associations.  

Their system regularly shuts down completely, leaving you without a working website.

They also put deadlines in for conversions such as transitioning from the current API to REST API and then do not have the support to assist as needed.  

The ease of entering new members is a plus.

Member data management - ease of credit card payments and exporting into Quickbooks.

Event registrations were easy for members to utilize and we had excellent history records of attendance.  

This is easy to use and a great time saver on sending updates.

I'm not quite at the point of moving on, but I'd really like to see them make some enhancements to keep customers.

it is relatively easy to use and intuitive

a) you won't be getting 'best in class' in each specific area of functionality (i.e. there are better web stores than the one in YM, better event management solutions than the one in YM, etc.) - but I don't think you will find a better solution across all areas; and

I have tried to have our communications person switch over to this but to no avail.  

We would like to see about having a consultant help us in some areas but do not know if this is available.

Extensive member management and dues capability

At times it is hard and time consuming to try and find invoices that they state they have paid especially when they do not have the invoice number with them.

NOT an innovative system.   If you are ok with spending staff time figuring out reports, waiting on customer service and work arounds, this is the platform for you.

No flexibility; difficult to navigate; cannot customize many of the communications messages; website content management is very restrictive; customer support responsiveness is extremely slow.

Customer service has drastically improved (including response time and helping us solve issues) from the time we started using it in early 2023, and we've had great customer success managers.

Their help line and customer response is always prompt and assists with any problems we have.
