The team were very helpful with helping adjust the custom pages, assisted with html coding, answers all questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us with the website build.

One other issue is that YourMembership is so big that our needs as a small trade association will likely never be considered for implementation.  

Some dislikes include the website (I'm not an html coder; this should be easier); integration with QuickBooks; inability to dedupe or merge nonmember records; too few renewal reminder options; customer service.

YourMembership is almost entirely customizable, and their support team is always available to help. Once setup, I save hours a week by pulling customizable dynamic reports and by reviewing the critical information on the dashboard.

She even suggested work arounds for some of the things we wanted the system to do but wasn't designed to do.

The website build is pretty time consuming, but I don't have anything that I could say negative about the implementation time.

I would spend a lot of time to update the event registrations post event.

Some of the functionality seems antiquated compared to other web products out there.

Using it for the last 3 years but wanting to find a better solution for our members managment.

The website and association management are the most useful elements.  

I cannot duplicate a campaign and the HTML editor and preview show the page differently than when it is sent out.

It does not integrate with tools we use most.

Additionally, while the website has a plethora of features, many of them can be "hidden" in places that you would not go to check right away.

Our not very complex design for Home page and additional pages is already past the one anniversary !

Currently you are limited to searching the five specific fields that are preset.

Their system regularly shuts down completely, leaving you without a working website.

The ease of entering new members is a plus.

Event registrations were easy for members to utilize and we had excellent history records of attendance.  

This is easy to use and a great time saver on sending updates.

I'm not quite at the point of moving on, but I'd really like to see them make some enhancements to keep customers.

a) you won't be getting 'best in class' in each specific area of functionality (i.e. there are better web stores than the one in YM, better event management solutions than the one in YM, etc.) - but I don't think you will find a better solution across all areas; and

I have tried to have our communications person switch over to this but to no avail.  

We would like to see about having a consultant help us in some areas but do not know if this is available.

Extensive member management and dues capability

At times it is hard and time consuming to try and find invoices that they state they have paid especially when they do not have the invoice number with them.

The customer support is TOP NOTCH - they always get back to you quickly and make sure to resolve and questions / issues you may be having.

Their web site template makes our site look very professional, and their customer support is amazing--it is not unusual for the company's [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to answer my support question--to me, a mark of a company that cares.

Where Novi AMS truly stands out as a company is that they genuinely WANT to improve their product and themselves - they listen to their customers, they think about what they can do to make their product what we need, and they are still at a size where they can and do try to treat every customer as an individual, rather than as a number being added to their bottom line. And to be clear, treating every customer as an individual and asking that all your employees try to keep that in mind is a decision - it is not something that automatically happens with small companies or something that you can state once as the mission of your company and just expect everyone to follow - this is something that someone somewhere in the company made an active decision about and then did their best to model the behavior they wanted.
