Covers the basics, however, can get same capabilities or better with HubSpot CRM, which is free.
Zoho has a little bit of everything -- so if all you need is a contact database then Zoho CRM could be for you.
I consistently want to like Zoho - they are one of the few brands attempting to take on Microsoft and GSuite -- the problem is that they tend to try and do everything and so in the end we rarely if ever end up deploying their products.

In terms of ease-of-use, we find Zoho CRM more intuitive than HubSpot CRM and its other major competitors. The UI is well designed, and managing custom fields is a breeze. While our team ultimately migrated to HubSpot CRM due to very specific needs of our business, every small business owner looking for a CRM should seriously consider Zoho CRM. It's a great value proposition and offers enough features for most.
Zoho CRM is intuitive to use, and has been iterated upon for over a decade to become an all-around top-tier CRM. As the first cloud CRM on the market, Zoho is still a solid option for any small business looking to ease their client management workflow. Zoho also offers marketing, sales, support, bookkeeping, and other tools that integrate with Zoho CRM, so any small business can fully manage their operations within this suite of tools in the cloud.
Zoho's CRM is not as flexible or as powerful as some competing CRM's, however this is offset by the inexpensive cost of a Zoho One subscription (enterprise-tier features for all Zoho suite of tools for a low per user price). One must consider whether affordability outweighs future extensibility when choosing their CRM. Not every Zoho tool integrates with Zoho CRM, as each Zoho tool has its own development team. We ran into a few issues because of this. However, support is readily available to hear your integration requests and pass them to developers, who in turn are friendly and frequently update the product to meet demands.

I stopped using Zoho, but was also at the time exploring Hubspot CRM (not the Marketing side of it), along with AgileCRM.
What attracted me to Zoho was the free plan to start with. But once I had some contacts loaded, I had to fumble through a UI that was not easy to use. Of course it has all the basics that a CRM would need - contact management, notes, scheduling tasks, etc... and it's nice that it allows you to be on the free plan with multiple users. If all you are looking for is a solid CRM, this might be a good free option.
The UI was a bit outdated. All the robust features like automated workflows are only accessible in the professional tiers, so expect to pay for automation. Check out AgileCRM if you are looking for automation in a free version of a CRM (*or at least at the timing of this review).

We are an SMB business to business company and this suits our needs very well. The CRM features allow for tracking customer data easily. It’s not as feature rich as Hubspot, but HubSpot is probably more appropriate for larger companies anyways.
The user interface is pretty easy to understand, there are good features, like web forms and workflow automations, and the price is not as high as other CRMs.
The support is not that great because they are not based in America. It’s acceptable, but sometimes they can’t understand what I’m really asking.

A strong consideration for your company's CRM platform. The middle tier costs of this platform is welcomed versus the prices of Salesforce of Hubspot.
Easy to use for managing of Contacts. You will be able to pick it up and start using it daily without any issues.
The user interface has a cheap feel to it that never seemed to have improved over the years. Perhaps they should give it some TLC to make the interface better.

Its great experience as I have tried other CRM system like Hubspot, Salesforce, etc. All have different strengths and weaknesses. For Zoho CRM I like the flexibility to customise and design your own dashboard very easily.
I like to Dashboard especially having the flexibility to design and customise your own dashboard. There is also different view perspective view on your leads, contacts and deals.
Integration to Whatsapp. I am still trying out different 3rd parties integration to Whatsapp. It will be great for Zoho to have their own integration function to Whatsapp.

A good option for small business owners and sales teams on a budget.
Zoho, and it's suite of applications, is a create cloud service for small businesses needing an affordable alternative to some of the big players. Zoho CRM is part of this suite. Beyond the usual CRM pipeline features (sales tracking, email campaigns, telephone options and social integrations), Zoho's CRM software also provides users with a Live Chat option and portals to connect with customers,...
Really, the only con with Zoho CRM is it's not as big a player as Salesforce (sales) or Hubspot or Infusionsoft (marketing), and so you may not find as many integration options as you would with a more well known CRM system.

Overall, Zoho CRM is perfect for us. What's great is that we're able to customize it such that we can handle all our B2B orders through Zoho CRM. Plan to also use Zoho CRM for customer experience.
Love the cost of this CRM. We've tried Hubspot, Activecampaign, Cloze before, but those CRMs get costly as we add more contacts. Zoho CRM is very affordable for us and does everything that we were able to do with the other CRMs.
What I like least about Zoho in general is their customer support. They are very slow in responding and also not able to solve many of our problems, we had to figure out a lot of things ourselves.

It's a solid system with a lot of flexibility
You need a Zoho Partner to usually set you up with integrations and customisation as you like. Compared to Hubspot much harder to use - especially for first time CRM users.

This CRM is more easy to understand and set compared to other. A great CRM for the price
This CRM is fantastic. You know, start to deploy a CRM in your business is not an easy task. Did you try other CRM like Hubspot, vTiger, OneCRM, Pipedrive, etc. ? That is a big task. But Zoho CRM made an apps easy to install, adjust, set and start in a fast and easy way. I tried many CRM, but this one is my choice. And Zoho CRM is linke to all other Zoho apps like Books or Forms. Wow!
Few functionality should be added, as we have with Pipedrive to create pipelines easily. Price should be smaller if we use other Zoho apps linked to the CRM

My overall experience with the Zoho CRM has been really well, it helped me a lot by keeping up with my deadlines - Maintaining database -Client Follow-ups - Management Information System reports - Marketing Tool - Sales Forecasting
'Zoho CRM is a cloud-based CRM that manages all size of businesses; My organization uses Zoho CRM which help us integrate all the contacts on the SPANCO model. We also customize tools according to our requirements. Further, we have also integrated with G Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, Evernote, Hubspot, and other 3rd party systems. The MIS features are excellent, and we can customize the reports as per our requirements, the log-in features of the clients, the follow-up functions, and the best part is it is pretty economical to use. We can customize the reports as per our requirements, the log-in features of the clients, the follow-up functions, and the best part is it is pretty economical to use.
The CRM did not perform optimally, which became more frustrating at times. The integration with Hubspot was a difficult project, it took longer than expected. There is no reason to hate it.

Zoho CRM is our hub for operations, sales, and marketing. We've automated huge swaths of our business using it. I can't recommend it enough!
Extremely powerful customization options (100 custom modules, workflow rules galore, etc.) Integrates with every other Zoho app The price is killer low, ESPECIALLY when it's part of Zoho One I really like the updated UI, I actually prefer it to Salesforce
It can be slightly trickier to train inexperienced folks on Zoho CRM compared to something a little more streamlined like Hubspot. Not a huge issue at all, it's just slightly more complex.

There is a reason people are flocking to HubSpot for their CRM. If it covers the features you need, the UI is MUCH better than Zoho. If you like living in the 90's, then Zoho's outdated UI might be what you want.
- Offers a large range of feature options like visitor analytics and tracking - Strong document and inventory management systems - Covers a wide range of company types, which others may not tailor to
- The UI looks like it was made in 1992 - By trying to do everything, it isn't tailored to those who want a straight marketing and sales CRM - If you don't need inventory management, etc, then HubSpot is a better option (although HubSpot does offer 3rd party plugins to satisfy that need as well)

I was evaluating a new CRM to fit the need of sales and other adhoc teams. We were confused among hubspot, pipedrive and zohoCRM. All three are similarly value against the price and features provided. ZohoCRM stand as a good crm at reasonable price in market.
UX looks a little heavy. It does not give me feel of using an advanced CRM. They need to bring in a little bit of automation functionality to make it a top notch solution.

The CRM does not have a lot of customization built into the database. It didn't come with some of the most basic parts of a CRM that were important for us. After trying to use it for about a week, we switched over to Hubspot and had a much better experience.

We are excited to build out the email integration within Zoho and hope this will solve our CRM issues!
We recently made the switch from the Hubspot to Zoho CRM. One of the biggest reasons why we decided to move to Zoho is because of the options with email automation and capabilities.
It has been a pain to move all our information from Hubspot into Zoho. I know that once we're set up it will be fine but I wish there was an easier way to transfer account information.

Overall Zoho has been a great solution for our small team looking to save a few bucks. As our team grows we have decided to move from Zoho to a custom CRM our CTO is developing.
Zoho is great for a team with a technical resource who can play around with the API and pull custom data points that may be relevant to your team.
As a marketer and salesperson who has used Salesforce and Hubspot for and an end to end CRM solution, Zoho is lacking in a few features and isn't as easy to use. While you can upgrade to add additional features it still isn't as robust a solution as Salesforce or Hubspot but it does cost less.

I used CRM to track Inside Sales at my company and I really came away being put off of CRM software as a whole. My day was made monotonous and repetitive because its workflows are so behind what competitors are offering. Had a much better overall experience with Hubspot.

It's better than spreadsheets, and it's cheap. So it does what it needs to do, but it's not top tier in any way
The cost. You get a very powerful tool for a small expense. Zoho is perfect for new companies that aren't ready for Hubspot or SFDC, but still need to capture and track contact data until they are ready for a real CRM
It's a glorified GUI for a database. It's not pretty, intuitive, or easy to use. Ironically, it doesn't integrate well with other Zoho products

Search feature is very fast and it updates DB's instantly. I tried about 10 different CRM(from Salesforce to hubspot) for search implementation exclusively. Apart from the fact that I wasn't able to fill-up a test DB in some CRM(How UI/UX friendly they are), in those I was the search somehow didn't see the items that were put into DB. Also don't be fulled by 'free' CRMs. I was to find a CRM with Products feature. Zoho gives you Products with a professional edition for $30/u/m. Hubspot for $400/m, other CRMs even higher. Since we're small company, with 2-3 users. We get most of the cake for around $100 per month.
Ability to start using CRM from day one. Not only for me but for the conservatives colleagues migrating from excel. Simplicity, speed, features, pricing.
some minor bugs with text cross-coding. There was some period when any received email contained !$%$ symbols in a subject field. Also, salesignals notification ignored received emails. Somehow the bugs disappeared on its own.

Helps me keep track of potential clients.
I like that this is integrated with my Zoho One account. The CRM is good or close to as good as Hubspot, which I used most recently. It took a little getting used to, but it's a helpful tool once I got the hang of it.
Really this is on me, not them, but I feel there are lots more buttons in the CRM than what I use. I feel either I'm not familiar with it enough to get the full benefit of using it, or they have lots of superfluous features.

Overall experience was good. It's just that the cost was out of our budget and the CRM needed to be more robust.
HubSpot has all the features needed for email marketing and automation, falling short a bit on the CRM front which is understandable as it's new.
Cost is too much when you compare with similar tools like ActiveCampaign or Zoho CRM.

I love this CRM and I have now started using it more then my previous favorite which was Zoho CRM. Anytime I onboard someone now, they are setup on this CRM because its easy to do.
I like the integration with Gmail the best. Besides the regular CRM functions, this saves so much time and is so convenient I love it. It allows you to easily setup new contacts and tracks correspondence all from initiating a gmail email.
Its so robust that you can get lost in its many features and so sometimes finding like the basic things can be a but daunting sometimes. Like adding new team members, I have to use the search bar to find this feature because it isn't out in the open area

I've previously worked with several CRM solutions among which Salesforce, Zoho CRM and Microsoft Dynamics. In comparison to those, HubSpot stands out in user friendlyness, good value for money and great customer service. HubSpot CRM becomes extremely powerful when used in combination with their Marketing Automation features, but of course that will come with a different price tag. In general: Great CRM solution every company should consider.

If you're using hubspot for the advanced features (sales pipeline, MAP, etc) and just need a CRM to house some data, Hubspot CRM is ok. If you utilize your CRM in an in-depth way with custom fields & reporting, HubSpot may feel like a downgrade. It was also a huge lift for us to manually import every field into HubSpot. We had 3 -4 imports (to write data and then overwrite other data) per type of information from Zoho over to HubSpot it was very cumbersome and less than ideal.
It houses all of our data and I do believe that the additional features (MAP & Salespipeline) are helping our sales and marketing teams to be more effective in their jobs.
If you've used a true CRM before, you'll notice that hubspot was not setup as a CRM initially. It was an add-on that they've done an ok job at. If you use the CRM day in and day out - it's cumbersome. Data is housed in ways that makes a user click 3 - 4 times just to find a field. We had Zoho before moving to Hubspot. The data was held in a much more user friendly way and the reporting was more robust.
