Rendering

Reviewers appreciate AGi32's rendering capabilities for effectively communicating lighting designs to clients and non-lighting professionals. They find the visualizations invaluable for explaining photometric values and providing a clear picture of the design's performance. Users report that the rendering quality, including visualization options like pseudocolor, helps clients visualize the final result. They say it is an efficient tool for presenting preliminary results and educating customers. However, some users note that rendering can be graphic-intensive and may require significant processing power. Of the 23 AGi32 users who gave detailed accounts of their use of Rendering, 83% rated this feature as important or highly important.

3D modeling

Reviewers highlight AGi32's 3D modeling capabilities as essential for visualizing and analyzing lighting designs. They find it helpful for running calculations on surfaces and understanding how objects affect lighting. Users report that importing 3D models from other software like ACAD can be challenging. They say the 3D modeling interface could be improved but appreciate its ability to define lighting designs accurately. They indicate that it is particularly useful for large projects and interior lighting layouts. Of the 20 AGi32 users who gave detailed accounts of their use of 3D Modeling, 80% rated this feature as important or highly important.

Collaboration tools

Reviewers value AGi32's collaboration tools for their ability to integrate with other software like CAD, SketchUp, and Revit through Elumtools. They find these tools helpful for presenting design elements to engineers, architects, and contractors. Users report that the ability to import and export graphics and data from other programs enhances design flow and structure. They say the tools are useful for communicating design intent to clients and peers, although some users mention limited personal use of these tools. Of the 16 AGi32 users who gave detailed accounts of their use of Collaboration Tools, 75% rated this feature as important or highly important.

Scheduling and Takeoff. I have yet to find a software that does this as well. I have tried the Candy QTO, and find that it is very clunky.
