The application enables supervisors to monitor vehicle locations, operational safety, passenger load, and drivers' actions. Riders can receive notifications about regular and detoured routes, view transit schedules, and track bus location through mobile applications. It also informs passengers of change in fare structures, conducts surveys, and provides estimated departure times of buses. Dispatchers can generate assignments as well as log events such as emergencies, accidents, or speeding.
Paratransit and ADA agencies can optimize schedules in batches and streamline communication between drivers, clients, and dispatchers. Using TripSpark’s service interruptions management feature, managers can create, plan, and track detours, capture temporary stop data, and send visual reminders to drivers to avoid construction sites, road closures, public events, and more.
