What is LanSchool?
LanSchool is a classroom management software designed to help educational institutions create online tests, monitor student devices, and engage, collaborate, and communicate with them on a centralized platform. Teachers can disable internet connectivity during quizzes or tests, limit access to approved websites, and send or receive documents such as assignments, templates, and other learning materials from students.
Using LanSchool, educators can lock learning devices to enhance student engagement and quickly monitor their screens to provide additional support as necessary. Teachers can communicate with students via direct messages, create online quizzes or tests by adding various types of questions including multiple-choice, true or false, and essays, and assign time restrictions for assessments. Administrators can track the battery status of each student device during classroom assessments and collect their browsing or application history in a centralized database. It also provides a tech console, which can be utilized by IT teams to remotely assist and resolve user queries through device control capabilities.
LanSchool enables teachers to broadcast their screens, view an online summary of student test results, export them in CSV format, and configure the access permissions for specific devices to print documents. The software also facilitates integration with various third-party applications such as Bark and DNSFilter to monitor and detect online threats, block suspicious traffic using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, and more.
