It’s a very user-friendly platform that allows you to get up and running quickly, and the all-in-one functionality is a major advantage. While support responsiveness could be improved, the system itself is reliable and intuitive. If you’re comfortable working things out independently, it’s a great choice for managing a tutoring business.

My students all over the world can access their portal, notes, scheduling, invoicing, after class notes, my blog and resources I add for them.

The advice given during the initial training session was to introduce a small late payment fee and my goodness this has been revolutionary for my small business. Since joining Tutorbird and doing this,  my invoices are all calculated automatically, go out on time and, more importantly, get paid quickly too.

It has intake forms I can put on my website, it has easy calendar and session booking use and easy invoicing and payroll features.

Still can't figure out the automatic invoicing and how it does not tell me who paid via Stripe and how it does not sync fully to my Google Calendar. When I make a change in my Google calendar, it does not sync with Tutorbird's calendar.

The main feature I wanted from Tutorbird was the ability to organise all my clients, their details, lessons, notes and emails with automated and quick/comfortable systems (instead of having to slowly input all the details in a spreadsheet, and individually email / bcc clients, which I did for years).

That I can receive enquiries, schedule my students, invoice them, and then set it up the invoice automatically and receive the payments as well.

Currently, any lesson notes sent and any following lesson notes sent for the same lesson is added to the same section and if we send out subsequent lesson notes for that same lesson, everything is consolidated.

You have to use their website building blocks, and there is little you can do outside of what they provide.

I was quoted $500 for YC to do the integrations, which felt high, so I struggled through their PDFs with outdated info and did it myself. If Yo Coach addresses these issues, I would be happy to update my rating.

For the price of one small change, like that original $800 to $1,000 quote to show a button earlier, I could buy a full site from a competitor.

I agree with other reviewers that prices for small customisations are high, and costs would stack up fast if I tried to fix multiple gaps.
