As an example of a feature that is desperately needed, the availability needs to be able to automatically update when a tutor schedules something on their personal calendar (similar to Google Calendar appointments). As it stands a tutor would need to constantly manage their tutor cruncher availability.

This software is fantastic for documenting tutoring sessions and keeping track of payments from clients and to tutors. If they roll out the UK features of split disbursement and lower credit card fees using a native payment within the app to the US it will be even better.

It has nearly all of the features required to run a tutoring business and has helpful tutorials that I can send to clients and tutors, instead of spending time explaining to them how to use it.

TutorCruncher is a robust platform with a primary focus of supporting tutoring businesses in the UK. Although our business is located in the US, the platform still does a great job with managing some of the basics.

You get great weekly analytics summaries of how the business is progressing (although a monthly summary email would be also really useful!) and the invoicing system works well for tutors and parents.

Tudor cruncher has significantly simplified our invoicing process and saved us time at the end of the month on that aspect of our business.

The questions don't get answered fully the first time round, there is a lot of back and forth until the agent understands what you mean, often you figure out the answer yourself in the process (by elimination) and I have been given wrong information in the past, such as that it is possible to split payment three ways - it is not!!

You can also automate sending out links (using 3rd part conferencing platforms) for upcoming sessions.

The fees are a little high when you take into account the tax charged by TC on every transaction as well.

There are a few things that could be developed such as; tutors being able to assign unavailable time as well as available, client and student profiles syncing to reduce data input etc

They are polite and friendly and we recieve quick responses, with helpful information and guidance on how we can get the best from the system.

Currently the company is looking to add additional features without fixing old issues that are making their system outdated.

Occasionally clunky, missing some functionality in the detail of certain workflows, and quite expensive.

It does the job, but is clunky to use, their are often bugs and agents are not well trained enough to help and language is a barrier.

It has also worked well for sharing tutoring needs with our teachers and tutors

The limitations around putting multiple parents on one account has caused a lot of headache.

It would be good if this feature was available, it looks like it should be - but then it doesn't work with Stripe.
