Teachworks has been especially helpful for scheduling and invoicing customers. And the customer support has been excellent! And we love all the different add-ons to make it even more useful and customized to our needs.

Unfortunately, there is a little glitch when syncing with Quickbooks, because of the way the VAT tax is calculated compared with the way Quickbooks calculates the VAT tax.

It makes payroll simple each month by showing the total hours and classes worked, along with any admin time.

I also wish that they had a better system for tracking student test scores like ACT and SAT.

I like that Teachworks is easy to use and keeps teachers, students, and admin like me organized with the calendar, student roster, and staff listings.

It’s also tricky to apply lesson packages to specific lessons.

Sometimes I wish there was a little more variability in what the sessions and instructors are called.

We like many things about it but we have been VERY frustrated by how slowly things change and improve and that it is impossible (even when we have offered to pay) to get additional support.

It continues to make us more efficient across every aspect of our business and has allowed us to scale up easily.  

There is functionality within the program, but when the documentation doesn't clearly indicate such, then the user is left to wade through pages upon pages of documentation and/or fast forward through videos to find the exact answer to the question.

It is not very intuitive for clients so it often  causes problems for them and makes the process more work than it is worth.

This is not useful for somebody who has limited time or for someone who isn't comfortable with technology.

Instead, we were left to fend for ourselves because of the lack of intuitiveness of the system.

As an example of a feature that is desperately needed, the availability needs to be able to automatically update when a tutor schedules something on their personal calendar (similar to Google Calendar appointments). As it stands a tutor would need to constantly manage their tutor cruncher availability.

This software is fantastic for documenting tutoring sessions and keeping track of payments from clients and to tutors. If they roll out the UK features of split disbursement and lower credit card fees using a native payment within the app to the US it will be even better.

It has nearly all of the features required to run a tutoring business and has helpful tutorials that I can send to clients and tutors, instead of spending time explaining to them how to use it.

TutorCruncher is a robust platform with a primary focus of supporting tutoring businesses in the UK. Although our business is located in the US, the platform still does a great job with managing some of the basics.

You get great weekly analytics summaries of how the business is progressing (although a monthly summary email would be also really useful!) and the invoicing system works well for tutors and parents.

Tudor cruncher has significantly simplified our invoicing process and saved us time at the end of the month on that aspect of our business.

All of my invoicing, student jobs, and client details and stored and managed securely in TutorCruncher.

The questions don't get answered fully the first time round, there is a lot of back and forth until the agent understands what you mean, often you figure out the answer yourself in the process (by elimination) and I have been given wrong information in the past, such as that it is possible to split payment three ways - it is not!!

You can also automate sending out links (using 3rd part conferencing platforms) for upcoming sessions.

Difficulty implementing plugins/sockets- customer enquiry form on website is not editable/does not work other than the basic version.
