What is ClaimMaster?
ClaimMaster is a Microsoft Word add-in for automated proofreading, drafting, and analysis of patent claims, patent application drafts, and Office Action responses. ClaimMaster helps users draft high-quality documents by detecting various claim numbering and amendment issues, lack of antecedent basis, missing specification support, part numbering problems in the specification and drawings, patent profanities, acronym issues, and many other types of drafting errors. In addition, ClaimMaster has many time-saving tools that help with patent application drafting, such as tools for charting, comparing, and analyzing claims, tools for automatic drafting of patent application sections, and tools for generating and filling-out Office action shells, IDS forms, and other USPTO forms. ClaimMaster also includes powerful tools for downloading and mapping data from the public patent sources, like USPTO and EPO. It can generate patent family trees, download PDFs of published patents, and file histories of existing patents/applications.
