Oh my gosh, I get paid so quickly, sometimes literally hours after sending the invoice.

makes life easier than my hacked together process of spreadsheets and Word templates.

You need to have this to do business and I like how seamless it works with MyCase.

LayPay offers the billing and payment options we need, while MyCase does not.

One of the better integrations, opened up the option to accept credit cards.

it doesn't work super well in MyCase and the emails are not integrated in a "dynamic format" - so it's really just informational linking, but can't be used for client follow up later.

We have our email integrated but it is slow. We are in the process of upgrading our Microsoft products to be able to use this more efficiently.

This keeps a record of all of my email communications, both sent and received. A complete historical record of communiques.

Yes. Most of our clients are more comfortable emailing us rather than go through the portal.

Once I was able to see an email from outlook in the communications section, I was amazed

Missing deadlines is the number one cause for malpractice in our field. Calendars are important! That being said, I found that MyCase's integration with Google calendars has had some bugs here and there that have been mostly resolved.

Our Firm calendar is VERY important. Being able to link events to specific cases is important and allows us to share important events and event reminders with clients via the portal.

The only problem is that, MC will put an event 'onto'/into your G.Calendar... but it won't 'remove' an event from G.Calendar.

It doesn't display on my google calendar the details of the case that I want it to display.

I like having a backup calendar, but MyCase is my main preferred calendar.

synching does not work with QuickBooks until you bill everything which is a huge hindrance when you advance client costs!

I did not participate in this integration but am told by those who accept payment that is it easier.

We make sure our balances for client trust accounts match with Quickbooks for our accounting.

We have our email integrated but it is slow. Due to an issue with an outside vendor, some of use had our email moved to the Gmail platform. We are in the process of upgrading our Microsoft products to be able to use this more efficiently.

Being able to quickly assign emails to cases is a great feature and makes billing for the emails so much faster.

Works well with the old integration, would like the new MyCase Mail option to have more granular control

If MyCase goes down for maintenance or whatever, we cannot access our document to continue working. We like the ability for Dropbox to resync with MyCase and keep everything current.

This integration is indispensable for sharing large productions of documents/discovery securely.

Pros
I like the ability to easily communicate with staff and clients about their legal issues. The automation is very good and allows tasks to be done in half the time without automation.
I have made a couple suggestions to improve the software and both changes have been made. Their customer support is outstanding.
Our firm uses this for EVERYTHING. I am very pleased with MyCase and will continue to recommend it to other firms.
Cons
The function to submit a question does not result in any feedback at all. The program is now getting glitchy and the newest update is just terrible looking and terrible functionally.
So, I always try to take the "oops, MyCase is no longer available" as a sign that I should stop working.
I am worried that quality will decline after the recent buyout.
