What is Essential ERM?

Essential ERM is a web-based enterprise risk management software which helps enterprises automate the process of identifying, prioritizing and managing top business risks, with risk, root cause and mitigation tracking features, plus dynamic heat maps, action workflows, risk bowtie support, and more. The Essential ERM system is designed to streamline risk collection, as well as reduce risk through improved visibility, accountability and analysis, in addition to reduced dependence on spreadsheets.

ERM automation tools serve to eliminate manual data collection and automate reporting roll-up and drill-downs. Program integrity is maintained with automated change tracking. Dynamic features, such as bowtie support, enable users to explore risk scenarios, pre and post event mitigations, risk events and consequences. Essential ERM also allows users to align risks to strategic objectives and desired business outcomes, as well as automate follow-ups with automated email reminders and an intuitive timeline. Features coming soon to Essential ERM include risk voting and multiple risk portfolio management.
