Pros

It has a great interface which makes it feel very easy to use and has a great set of templates you can use from the beginning for various accounting needs.
For a small company as myself the excellent invoice features has been very helpful and useful.
FreshBooks combined with other applications is a great tool. In any case, if you want to create invoices and send it in a split second and then track and monitor its progress, I recommend FreshBooks.

Pros

My customers are also super happy because HP tells them when something is scheduled and allows them to interact with us. More engaged clients mean happy clients that may spend more.
I love this software, I cannot thank the pros at housecall enough for introducing me to this product. The fee is very affordable and it has everything that I need to run my business daily.
I just like the ease of use and the organization of it. Keeps me organized and helps me accomplish more.

Cons

We would lose all of that if we switched, so unfortunately we are stuck with having to use this horrible new format.
It is really frustrating to have a client not be able to pay through the invoice, and for this reason, only, I have been considering a new software company.
Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Cons

They utilize a chat bubble on their website for support and have little to no way of escalating a problem to speak with someone. The implementation of new features comes fast and furious.
We reluctantly renewed for one more year because of the hassle of yet another transition, and I can certainly say it has proved to be a mistake and regret.
When your account ask for that information you will not be able to provide that to them. You will eat that loss on your tax filing.

The firs pro is the availability of functional mobile apps and add-ons you can get for Android devices.

Cons

In the billing give a bug that prevents line adds and deletes on some accounts. Therefore It having to do the billing by hand.

Pros

Easy to use, looks pro, can get reviews from clients, caps at max but have lower plans so you can grow into it.

Cons

Can't have client pay half down, half on delivery. They have an odd workaround. With a software made for freelancers, and this being a common practice, you'd think they'd have this built in. They took years of people yelling at them to implement this feature and it's still goofy. Other than that, it's excellent.

Very flexible and intuitive. My accountant was impressed with the reports i could submit at years end. Easy way to track clients, invoices and expenses. Especially on the go!

Pros

mobile app simple set up price conscious

Cons

no GPS tracker. But i emailed the founder of the company on it and he actually responded! So they are working on it so maybe actually a pro.

I began using accounting software in 1988 - Freshbooks is hand down today's most intuitive and easy to use platform out there. The client-side interface is brilliant - makes my business look very pro .. Freshbooks Rocks!

FreshBook is the easiest way to keep a good track of your business finances, its features and interface makes it pretty straight forward.

Cons

A bit too simple, works fine for small business but when trying to implement it to a medium-large business it can get messy. A pro version would probably be a good solution to that.

Can't say that the experience so far has been satisfactory but as of now, I don't have another choice.

Pros

The pro that I see is that it is priced less, compared to other accounting / invoicing options. I have been using the software for about 2 months now and will be able to say any further only once I make use of Fresh books at the year end for my book keeping and tax filing.

Cons

The software is not customizable to show your company details, logo or relevant information such as HST account number and the like.Moreover, It shows the name Fresh Books in each invoice which makes it obvious to clients that we are using a third party software.

Who need an assistant using FreshBooks?

FreshBooks become an option later I test the 7 trail offer, all aspects on the software are very useful and really allow me to understand that my old control need a new view and use more powerful options to become more professional for my clients, FreshBooks give the tools and base to integrate that new professional look to my company, the best part of all, it’s that I don’t need to have more helping people to manage all this options, I can control everything on a single click and have a clear point of view of my company situation on real-time, that worth every penny invest on the subscription, and of course it’s more cheap that have an assistant.

Pros

FreshBooks it’s the best software to control all the billing aspects on any company, fully customization task, automatic invoices and easy to follow payments, also the reports become a dream to work with it, the pro and subscription options worth every penny, don’t forget that all your data is on the cloud so can be easy access from any place in the world, the mobile app become useful on travels.

Cons

Even if freshbooks allow us to register all our work and make a very professional invoice, the payment option not can be easy integrated, some banks accounts don’t accept JON export or have web integration options, also if the client made a payment using other methods, all the information need to be added by hand and take time. The app for mobile are very low on features, could be a great option to bring more features or more access to all that freshbooks allow, for views it’s ok, but for work, need a lot improvements.

Cloud based invoicing made easy with FreshBooks

Freshbooks allowed us to migrate all of our invoicing to the cloud. Doing that means access from anywhere in the world and it allows us to provide instant customer support and follow-ups.

Pros

The number one feature in any web-app I use has to be user experience. FreshBooks recently introduced a redesign worthy of 5 stars alone. This makes the software intuitive and straightforward and allows me to train new employees to use the software quickly. Another quality feature of FreshBooks is the ability to manage multiple businesses. This is a self-explanatory pro to this software but I can't praise it enough.

Cons

It's a little spendy compared to competitors and there's no way to track inventory as far as I've been able to tell. If these aren't important for your business I wouldn't worry too much.

It is very cool and a solution-packaged software for every accounting needs.

Pros

The main reason I love Freshbooks and won't hesitate to share it with others is due to the fact that the software interface is user-friendly making it easy for even non-accountants/professionals to use and also utilizes all of its features and functionalities with ease. Freshbook has made it easier for me to create invoices, track time and expenses, even save more and do other accounting activities like a PRO!

Cons

The only problem I have about FreshBook at the moment is their support which is not effective enough and needs improvement as this goes a long way to solving users' problem, making users happy and also company's growth through leveraging on the feedback from users.

Producing and sending accurate and timely Pro-forma invoices ("estimates" in Freshbooks terms), then invoices upon receipt of payment, and even worse recording expenses was a nightmare. It no longer is. The SW does take my time, but it forces me to be accurate and did solve the problem of communication with the accountant/tax advisor.

Pros

Easy, reliable, it did solve a ton of problems for me. In particular, my documents (invoices and expense receipts, mainly) are safely and orderly kept in there.

Cons

As I mostly issue invoices to Italian clients, the setup was somewhat more complex: the application was not conceived to handle Italian taxation intricacies when preparing estimates, invoices. But I did manage around the difficulties, and it did reorder my administrative life. One suggestion: it would be very helpful to have the option to let the accountant see and print/download the attachments or edit the expenses; basically they should be able to do almost all I can do with the SW. I had to give to an accountant my password, so he can now access Freshbooks as if he was me. They warn me when they do...

It's really hard to say something is wrong with this software, but I guess it could always be better! You can do it better, guys! Thanks :)

Pros

It's really easy to use and to get all you need as a freelancer. I have used it my self and makes your life really easy. I forgot about those headache documents about my finances. And the best of all it comes with a mobile app, so you don't have to wait to sent invoices or calculate an estimate with a client. To manage a project with your clients has never being as simple and friendly as FreshBooks has put it for all; and if you have some partners in crime, then it connect everyone with everything. It also made it easy to track all those little expenses that sum up a big amount at the end of the month so you can keep track and control. You can customize everything and that a huge PRO.

As a freelancer it suits ad hoc projects with unique entries. However, if I were working on projects with rather similar outputs, I'd be a bit irritated that it doesn't have more intuitive automated fill-in entries.
