The app is easy to use. When we open the app it is clear. All the functions are easy to find in the app. The support page is nice. It is a great tool to organize the business. When I click on invoice i can see a page where I can see all the funcionalities.: customer information, date issued, customized invoiced numbers etc. I can put my logo or brand. I can accept credit card which is a great funcionality. I can automatically bill the customer, payment reminders and I can choose a lot of currencies to charge the customer.

I think Stripe is a little better than Freshbooks payments

They offer a free trial version for 30 days which is very sufficient to learn how the app works. During this trial period I was given all the features. I started to use FreshBooks as one of my clients recommended it. As it was recurring long term client, I used FreshBooks for bookkeeping and some minimal accounting functions.

They asked me to connect to another payment service called 'Stripe' to start receiving payments directly. I could see that Stripe doesn't support sign up from India. So I couldn't use to get paid.

So easy to use in general and set up credit card payment gateways. This gets the business going fast.

Could use a few more integrated payment gateways - Stripe and Mijereh for sure.

I could not sync with my SVB account. I tried many different ways of doing it but somehow I could not link it. It could be an issue with SVB account. I did try to take it with their support team, but we could not find a solution to it. Anyway, I continue to use the software as I found another way to input expense information into Freshbooks

Fresh UI/UX, easy to setup and well integrated with external tools like Stripe

It is designed for a small company, it not scale up very well for big company

I can synchronize my WooCommerce sales and take recurring payment with ease thanks to the WooCommerce + Freshbooks + Stripe combo

I am still in the old version, I don't understand why it takes so long to migrate to the new version. But this will not affect new users.

Tier based pricing from Lite to Premier is a bit confusing. WePay advocates having a Chase bank account for faster processing otherwise fails to integrate.

Fast and easy to make invoices! Easy for them to pay. Stripe and Paypal integration! Interface is clean and simple, support is friendly, and it just works!

Hard to say because it is serving so well. Maybe some integration directly into our quickbooks online, which I haven't looked into how to do yet, but could be nice. Maybe it would also be cool if you could generate the invoices directly from Gmail somehow? :)

The best thing is that I can integrate the tool with Stripe and more important I can link it to my bank account and have real-time information on my financial situation.

I've found the price be too high, especially in the pro version, although I'm still an early user.

Easy billing, easy to add customer information and track history, integrates nicely with Paypal and Stripe. You can call them, they are real, awesome people! Rare and special in this day and age.

The balance sheet function isn't very good, and the Freshbooks staff doesn't understand the balance sheet for the most part, it's just not a focus of the platform. Not necessarily a bad thing, just make sure you've got a good balance sheet elsewhere! I would like for it to integrate better with Strikingly, my website platform, and with online shops in general.

Ability to see when customers view your invoices and forward invoices. I also like the ability to set up recurring invoices. For one-time and recurring invoices, customers can pay online via Stripe or other payment portals.

Cannot track expenses in multiple currencies. I have clients in the US and Canada. Expenses on one project can often be in two currencies. Since the system can't track multi-currencies, I track expenses in Excel.

Out of all the accounting software FreshBooks has the best-looking and more customizable invoices I have used. Set up was easy it allowed me to set automatic payments and reoccurring invoices. Easily integrates to QuickBooks and Stripe.

The bookkeeping features for bookkeeping are not as developed as the competitors but this is a good software for a sole-proprietorship or a small business.

Freshbooks is awesome. Does exactly what it is supposed to, makes invoicing & getting paid easy. Get paid via Stripe, Paypal, ACH, etc. Sends reminders when invoices are due. Super Clean Dashboard which shows invoices paid and invoices outstanding.

I can't think of anything in Freshbooks I dislike. Really great service for freelancers and small to medium business owners.

Web version and app super easy to use.

When entering expenses from app, would love a drop down of previously used vendors rather than having to type it out. Would also like Paypal & Stripe bank fees to be accounted for automatically. Minor things though!

Easy to use, and user friendly to do invoicing. The new Freshbooks makes it easier to track the invoices that are due and set payments reminders. It has integration with Stripe but would've like the Paypal to be an option too.

The old FreshBooks had some better features and integrations but is still a good bookkeeping alternative for small businesses and contractors.

I love that the software is easy to use and does everything I need it to. I frequently use invoicing and expenses, and they have both performed well for me so far. Another good quality is Stripe fees are automatically calculated.

Sometimes it is unclear the way the numbers are displayed on the reports. They should go back and make sure the numbers that are and are not included are clear in the report.

One of the best tools that I use for my daily income tracking is FreshBooks. It seamlessly integrates with Stripe to help me manage and prepare for tax season. There are so many resources and the support is simply brilliant.

I enjoy everything about the software. I was very timid at first - but once I started using the software I was blown away.

It helps in making heavy invoicing and expenses, and both have performed perfectly well . I also appreciate that they automatically calculate Stripe fees and other payment platform fees as expenses. Their team really cares about their users, and they listen when I offer feedback.

I wish multi-currency support was strongerbecause i am not being able to enter expenses in USD is frustrating.

Accounting doesn't need to be complicated and integrating Freshbooks into our copywriting business was pretty straight forward. The ability to both invoice and track expenses in the same app was really useful. What made Freshbooks a real winner for us was the available integrations with both our CRM and our time tracking app of choice.

It would have been nice if it was easier to import our info product sales but that's a minor issue. For client work Freshbooks is a dream. Customise their templates and you're ready to start sending out invoices, update client accounts and collect the payment with Stripe in under an hour.

I Like the simple easy setup into my stripe account. The fratures connected with the account to send invoices and follow up on payments. As well as connecting to accounting personal by email is guided through. I like the visuals and engaging small texts for everytime im making an invoice.

The needs to be more connections to new featuring such as cryptocurrencies. Also it lacks a custom tailoring solution setup for especially danish law systems of taxes and reporting. Requiring more pribtouts and pdfs of the invoices and their details.

The auto billing feature is very easy to set up and searching profiles is easy as well. I also like how it gives the option to select from a few different merchants. We chose stripe as it was recommended upon set up and have never had an issue with it so far.

The only part I am not fond is is the inability to look up customer profiles via credit card info. If a recurring profile is saved under the wrong name you literally have to go through every profile one by one to match the last four digits on the card.

freshbooks is very easy to use , does whatever I wants to do, I heavily use it for invoicing and tracking expenses and result of two have performed very well for me , I also liked that they themself calculate Stripe fees and expenses. Freshbooks offers good customer suppourt, solve any problem very quickly and they listen to my feedback.

It would've been nice if Freshbook supported all country currencies, I wish better reporting system is available so detailed reporting could've provided.

I love how easy it was for me to start accepting credit cards through Freshbooks using Stripe. All I had to do was create an account and connect to Freshbooks. After that, my customers could pay their invoices right from the email sent by Freshbooks.

Balancing the books between the bank and Freshbooks can be a bit challenging as Stripe pays out a lump sum and sometimes I have to figure out which client payments "add up" to the lump sum that Stripe deposited in my bank account.

The fees are lower, and it integrated well with my accounting software Freshbooks. Allowed credit card payments seemlessly.

Stripe was extremely easy to integrate with my accounting software "FreshBooks" and I've never had any issues with them being flagged by a client's credit card company.

I wish that there was a next day option for transferring funds as it usually takes about 3 business days, but the funds always arrive so I can't complain too much.

Setup was quick and easy and it integrates will a number of my third party products I use.

Earlier versions left a bit to be desired with the backend reporting. They have since fixed that and it is easy to view transactions and payments.

I like how Stripe integrates directly with invoicing software such as Wave and Freshbooks for clients to be able to make credit card payments instantly directly from the invoice.

The only thing I didn't like is that the first payment can take about 10 days to process. But after that, I always received payment in my bank account within 24-48 hours, and have never had any problems with over 100+ transactions.

Hands down, the easiest merchant processor to integrate into Gravity Forms or WooCommerce - I have to imagine it integrates just as easy with other popular tools, but my experience is limited to Gravity Forms and WooCommerce. I have never won a dispute - no not one - and the process seems entirely automated. While I have only had four disputes in the past 12 months, all of which were admitted mistakes on the customer's part, I submitted emailed conversations with the client where they admitted error, and I still lost. Since then, I've been told it's best to get the client to contact their credit card company to rescind the dispute but it was frustrating that the process is so automated that it seems not to favor the merchant. So, with that in mind, if you ever have a dispute, work with the customer to get them to rescind it.
