PROvis overview
What is PROvis?
PROvis is a solution primarily designed for visualizing MDC production data on large screens strategically placed throughout a facility. The core concept is to utilize the displayed information for various purposes: Showcasing real-time production graphics to highlight potential issues, Presenting the current weather conditions, Displaying the day’s menu in the canteen, Announcing upcoming events, Providing fire safety instructions, Communicating management decisions regarding work procedures. Each large screen is typically powered by a NUC or a small desktop computer running a Windows operating system. The system is set up in Internet kiosk mode, which automatically starts the computer and launches a web browser with a customized website upon power-up. Each monitor is assigned a series of displays and will cycle through these displays in a continuous presentation based on a timed schedule once it is activated.
