QuickBooks Online vs Dynamics 365 Comparison

The ability to have the files available 24/7/365 between you and your client as long as there is a wifi. I have been on a cruise ship in the straits of Alaska uploading QBO files to a CPA during tax season with the old desktop version now all they need is an email and password for that function.

All of the rapid changes over the years each time you logged on and you would have to relearn each week if you were at a client weekly. I think the rapid price increases are outrageous going from $30 to $60 for a simple 3-user setup in 3 years.

Ease of use for the most common features (invoicing, expense capturing), receipt capture assistance, quick and flexible search, 3rd party marketplace. Accountant version has good client management.

Not all features available in mobile (no payroll), No automatic late charge/ overdue interest (requires either manual or using 3rd party integration which greatly increases cost of product). Document attaching limited only to invoices and expense receipt capture (should be on invoice payment). Time recording should be easier within desktop app (have mini app for this ). No integration into Office 365 (would be great to have ability to bill for emails, appts, tasks etc) as well as ability to see Quickbooks Receivables when viewing either Office365 contact or viewing, writing email

Very well documented install/upgrade procedures. Stable environment with Windows Server. Standardized for integrations, so it integrates with pretty much everything.

User setup/logins are a bit obtuse. AD integrations are lacking or at least hidden and not easy to find.

Lots more functionality than quickbooks and very easy to implement. Its also inexpensive compared to other options

The reporting is good for this software but not great. Not as much flexibility to create reports as some other options

None, there were no pros to the software that we’re any better than quickbooks and the price was high

Literally designed backward, nothing ever seems to work, hard to navigate, too many steps to use a simple function

Its just like quickbooks but easier to use. I like being able to keep track of all of my information.

I think the software could have a little more features to make it unique and different from quick books.

It is very user friendly software. It is easy to navigate and was easy to train orher staff members on.

Price is a little high. I was looking more for a price point around what we were charged for quickbooks.

There is a lot more functionality than Quickbooks. I am using Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, and there is a lot to intake that Quickbooks doesn't show you off the chart. At the same time, there is a lot of information at a glance, and it is far more detailed.

The learning curve. To jump right in on my own, would be a nightmare. This is not for beginner use. Please hire a great accountant. This is not necessarily a con, because it's a great program, but it's not for a newbie. Also, SaaS. No Desktop program. Great if you need access from all around the world. Not so great when the internet cuts off!

It gives you a 360 vision based on the leads, oportunities and clients in one software.

The online support in other languagues could be better

It provides better much value to the company. It give structure to the business process flows.

The feature I like leased was the online connections.

Dynamics is highly accessible, very user-friendly and honestly one of the greatest Softwares out today.

Sometimes the online cloud would give me some issues.

Speed, accessibility and simplicity of use.

Needing to be online to access some parts of it.

It is intuitive, easy to use and navigate, excellent integration. My day is much easier and faster with this program!

Zoho social, QuickBooks, and Salesforce all together in one for us. We tried them all really and this one is think takes the cake.

I don't really have any cons. It does it all. Not so much social media but definitely CRM and accounting

Dynamics is very easy to use and extensively organized. Dynamics comes as a part of Microsoft business solution which includes other software's and programs like SharePoint, Outlook, Yammer and Azure.

Not much documentation present online in order to learn about the software.

It is easy to use and makes my office work so well arrange and simple, and also i can use thise product anywhere.

Fact that i can make use of this product either offline or online.

Great account management features. It allows you to insert necessary information in each job and easily track on the system. Functional, adapts to your specific needs.

Sometimes it works slowly in the online version. This can make use difficult.

Dymanics 365 used by me from last few years , it seems it grows and improve the software linearly.

for a new new user it's difficult to understand it's uses without online training.

If you are looking for something better than the best, i can say MS Dynamics is your product, it comes in handy for any business, regardless of size and need, it makes everything seem so easy, not to mention its availability across all platforms and you can use it everywhere you are, can help you business gain more customers, seal new deals/contracts with clients with no papers but right from the palm of your hands, so what more does a business need if not the best, then this is your product

there is less to not like, you cant expect a similar GUI from other CRM softwares like quickbooks, it requires you to familliarise yourself with it yet easy to use

One of the best ERP solutions. 1. API for online data transferred to 3rd party tools.2. Knowledge in C# which is a common language is enough for development.,

Using Android devices is quite complicated for remote users to do online invoicing and sales orders.

I really like the flexibility of the Dynamics applications in terms of integrating with other systems.

I'm not a big fan of how the online version of Dynamics and the offline versions differed so much. It seems that Microsoft has stopped investing in Dynamics offline versions for the time being and instead has focused on the online versions only.

Not easy to add external adds ons to the online version which would be useful. Complicated initial setup.

Easy of this accounting software. Functionality at preparing financial statements was superb

At the time of use the software was not online, hence the reason of switching to another software.

We use this program for billing, planning and organizing our competitors markets. It is easily organized and user friendly.

Our company did not do much training however the online help selections are very usefull and easy to understand.
