fantastic, it's what I've been looking for and the perfect replacement for Quickbooks
It's free and has all the invoicing options I need. In particular I can edit the invoice in many ways that other competitors couldn't manage. I've used Quickbooks for years but couldn't abide by their lousy customer service, control of my data, and high prices. I tried many alternatives and finally found Zoho which does everything I need for small business/sole proprietor accounting
takes a while to become facile with this app, but it's well worth the time investment

I've tried Quickbooks and FreshBooks but I am sticking with Zoho Invoice for its simplicity and the price is right. Freshbooks was disappointing.
Easily produces professional invoices and reports for the light user. Faster, simpler and cheaper than the competition. Highly recommended.
Recurring invoices could be easier. I need to set a manual schedule with a changing number of hours (items). Have not figured that out yet.

So many benefits, so few detriments. It's everything you'd want in an Invoicing/accounting system, without all of the steep learning curves that come with Quickbooks!!!
I love being able to create Estimates and then turn them into Invoices. I also love the layout and design. It works perfectly and is easily customizable.
You can't organize the columns by Status! There does not seem to be a way to access the emails that were sent to customers along with their Estimates and Invoices (but maybe I just can't figure out how to find them?!

As per my title - Zoho is simple invoicing software for regular people. Also integrates nicely with other Zoho products, which is great. Allows you to set reminders, automate generation, automatically email your customers, and track status.
Experience is best on desktop - could do with better options for mobile, but this isn't something I personally need too regularly.

My overall experience with Zoho Invoice has been great.
I like how you can setup the templates and integrate a variety of payment options. The online portal makes it easy for the client end to manage payments and stay informed on what is going on.
I wish it would integrate with quickbooks easier. Also it would be easier of it had some sort of e-sign option for clients to sign the terms page on invoices.

I've used it for a couple of years now and have liked everything about it. I am not a big user as only a few customers and it is mainly used for a part-time business but that said, the use of it has been seamless and with little complication. Most features have been easy to find and implement as needed.
Ease of set up and a mobile app. The ability to quickly create invoices and record expenses from either my desktop or my phone was a plus.
There's nothing I haven't liked about Zoho yet. Ported across all data from my previous Invoice software app.

The simplicity of the portals whether it be on the mobile or on the desktop allows us to run the business and monitor the business from anywhere in the world.
If there was an overview to see a vat report within the reports features, thats the only addition I would look for.

Easy, affordable invoicing for services, times and items.
Easy to add items, expenses and best of all, time entries, from desktop AND mobile devices. Emailing PDF invoices is also very easy, as is the overall experience of both platforms.
I wish i had a bit more control when it comes to displaying certain information on my invoices. Maybe it is just me, but I like to display my start time, end time, task name AND task notes for EACH billable task on an invoice I send to a client - which is difficult with this app.

It was fantastic for the price. You have a full suite of features for a fraction of what something like Freshbooks or Quickbooks cost. While it had significant limitations, the features are far and above what you would expect for the monthly fee
My review my be a little outdated as I have switched over to Quickbooks paired with an industry specific invoicing system. The main issue I had was that it was missing a strong estimation software that they had implemented in their CRM module. That baffled me as the CRM had a more customizable and robust system than their actual invoicing system did. What's more, it didn't translate over as cleanly as I would have wanted. This might have been fixed by now but the disparity between their different modules can be problematic.

My overall experience with this invoicing software was positive as it has provided me a structural framwork to manage invoices and I love its user-friendly interface.
I love to use Zoho Invoice's due to its ease of use and all the customization options provided by them in the software. With the help of this I was able to send professional invoices quickly along with automatic payment reminders to my customers with different payment gateways.
What I liked least was its starts lagging sometimes when generating reports and some their were some limitations in the mobile apps as well as compared to the desktop version.

I have tried using other software for my invoicing needs, and have not liked them. Then I stumbled upon this little gem. The interface is excellent. Easy to use. Apps exist for the phone, desktop. Just a few short clicks to get anything done. Also easy to create professional looking invoices.

A Perfect Billing/Invoicing Solution For Startup & Mid Range Business. Daily I Use This Application For Billing. I Can Manage All My Cusotmers Billing & Payment Details on My Mobile.
Main feature is software is cloud baised, so you can access it anywhere like mobile, tablet, desktop and laptop. You can generate invoice for your customers in just 10-15 second that is bigest advantage of this application and they also provide free version with limited access so anyone check its features and then can buy.
i dont find any issue with this application, only new user will takes some time to understand its functionality.

I like the ease of using it. I like all Zoho products. I used to use Quickbooks and Google products and figured they'd be easy for me to use, but they were expensive and I needed an assistant to use them. I am just a small business owner doing construction work and Zoho makes it easy for me to get my invoices out and get paid.
My assistant set up my Zoho invoice for me and even though I am a construction worker, working on site, it is still easy enough for me to use and I can send the invoices out myself without having to pay my assistant.
I like everything about it, there's not one thing I would change. It's easy to use.

It was hilarious at first, i was searching for an app to generate invoice when i am outside i came across zoho invoice gave it a try first try was funny as the functions didn't made any sense at first but soon after an hour so it felt like this application is really thought through when crafting, i quickly set it as my next go-to invoicing app on desktop and mobile and on the cloud, thanks you zoho for this wonderful service.
Everything from custom payment gateway integration to single click invoice genration, the best feature would be the inventory mangement and product catalogue making it easier to create invoice by typing the product name only everything will be fetched from the catalogue even the discounts and taxes are perfectly fine tuned with the invoice template. Started using as an On-The-Go invoice genrator and fell in love after generating first invoice.
The mail customizability the mail sent to payee is non-customizable(atleast for me) i want it to reflect offline payment instructions as well for some customers having no mode online payments that's the only drawback i found while using zoho invoice apart from this everything works perfectly fine.

I cannot recall how I first learned about Zoho services, but I've now been using them for many years to track projects and invoices for my small freelancing business. I switched over from Xin Invoice for desktop (not sure if they ever made the switch to offering it online themselves). Zoho's clean and easy-to-use online portal makes the thankless (and often anxiety-raising) tasks of small business administration much, much easier to manage. I am super grateful to the Zoho team for putting together such a well-considered product.

Wonderful! Can't say enough about Zoho Invoicing component!
After having tried to find solutions that are cloud-based, available on multiple devices and is easy to use, this is absolutely the best economic solution! I am a part-time design freelancer with many clients to balance jobs/AP/AR, needless to say, I needed an easy to use solution that I can quickly find, send, follow-up or expense items. This is by far the best option for that type of invoicing! -Customizable -Detailed reports & dashboards -Estimates -Terms & conditions -Easy entries by client -Sortable -Can use on desktop & mobile -Timesheets (although I don't utilize this function)
Honestly, I have yet to find a flaw for my needs. This is such a wonderful solution for small to midsize businesses and perhaps nonprofits. Not sure how well it would fare for larger organizations.

Everything else. Complicated to use. It doesn't have to be that way. So hard to connect an invoice to a payment, let alone see anything in the business clearly. Not made for anyone but accountants.

not being able to add discounts when receiving a payment on quickbooks online. you have to go into the invoice first, add the discount, save the invoice then receive payment.

I like that when there are updates there is tabs that tell you what's new and how to use the features. When I have a problem their customer service is great with walking me through what needs to be done.
sometimes when I have collected payment on an invoice it stays in the open invoice tab, to get it to the paid invoices I have to close quick books and restart
