The software itself works fine, however I have had 2 incidents in the past year and the customer service or lack there of is terrible. If you can reach a human being, they are based in India and are not able to help trouble shoot the issue. They take your info and pass it on to the development team and tell you that someone will contact in the next day or so. I would highly suggest looking for a different service
Pros: Price is competitive, easy invoicing
Cons: Lack of any real customer service India base and they do not fully staff during US business hours
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. To ensure that our customers get proper and immediate response, we have a dedicated support team that works round the clock (Mon-Fri, including US hours). The login issue you experienced is unique and had to be handled by the technical team. We have sorted this out and one of our support people will get in touch with you through email or phone. We can assure you this will never happen again.

I have been using this invoice and billing software for some months now and I can say that I am very satisfied. Zoho Invoice only charges you if you create more than 5 invoices per month. However, the pricing for more invoices is very reasonable. I managed to sign up in just a few seconds, which surprised me. The subscription to other invoicing applications is often much more time consuming. The dashboard that Zoho created is pretty intuitive. You just need to take some minutes to set up an invoice template and you can start invoicing right away.
Pros: Follow up on unpaid bills It integrates with PayPal and its own products The software is ready for multiple currencies
Cons: Zoho Invoice looks and feels like a separate product
Zoho Invoice is an online invoicing software from the Zoho product family, which creates and exports your invoices online. Once an invoice is sent, you can track it or send automated payment reminders and follow-ups. There are many invoice options from which you can choose, such as taxes, discounts, currency, invoice terms, customer notes and so on. Another positive feature is that you can create estimates or quotes for your clients. The software is intuitive enough to start right away generating invoices. Apart from the basic free version there is a paid one, which allows you to dispatch up to 1,500 invoices per month and create five different users.
Pros: Excellent interface and broad import options
Cons: Only five invoices per month in the free version
Anyone running a business knows the importance of getting paid quickly. To remain in business, a steady flow of income is necessary to handle the many bills an enterprise incurs.
Zoho Invoice promises hassle-free invoicing to make it easier to get paid. Not only can freelancers and business owners more easily deploy invoices, it encourages clients to pay more quickly with automated reminders and links to online payment options. Reminders can be set to automatically go out after a certain number of days have passed with an invoice overdue. This will help ensure a missed payment never gets lost in the system. Zoho Invoice also gives a business's clients multiple ways to pay, offering popular payment options like PayPal, Google Checkout, and Authorize.net to speed up response times on invoices.
Invoicing doesn't have to be painful. Zoho Invoice makes it easy to invoice clients, offering an up-to-date snapshot of a business's performance. Easy-to-use templates can be customized to reflect a business's brand. Payments can be made online, with automated reminders making it easy for clients to pay for items.
Zoho Invoice covers all of the major financial needs of a business, including invoicing, expense tracking, estimates, and more. With support for multiple currencies and languages, Zoho Invoice makes it easy for business to work with clients around the globe. With reporting, businesses have access to an always-updated snapshot of their finances.
The most important feature in Zoho Invoice is its ability to help users create, manage, and track invoices to customers or clients. Once created, an invoice can be sent directly to the payee or can be printed to be sent through the postal system. Recurring invoices can also be set up for businesses that prefer to operate on a subscription-based model.
Once an invoice has been sent or saved, a user can make it recurring, mark it as sent, void it, print a packing slip, or clone it to create a similar invoice. All invoices are stored and can be referenced or used later as new projects arise.
Using Zoho Invoice, freelancers and small business owners can create professional-looking estimates to help win the job. The estimate is saved in Zoho Invoice permanently to allow professionals to reference it the next time an estimate is requested.
Once work has been completed, an estimate can be easily converted to an invoice. This quick step saves time by removing the need for duplicate entry. It also helps a business ensure it stays on track with its original estimate, although items can be changed to reflect items that have been added on over the course of the project.
Managers and employees can create tasks associated with projects, with time logged for each of these tasks for billing purposes. Tasks can be created and assigned using a PC or mobile device, allowing workers to keep projects moving while on the go. Employees can also track expenses and attach receipts directly in Zoho Invoice for easy reimbursements.
Zoho Invoice offers a project snapshot that shows the overall project budget, as well as the billed and unbilled hours for the month. If billing is fixed, that can be specified, as well, to ensure the project is billed correctly. Project expenses can be included with an invoice to give clients a detailed view of the work that has been completed.
Each Zoho Invoice user will be granted a portal that can be shared with his client. Through the portal, clients can view, download, forward, or make online payments for outstanding invoices. These payments can be made from within the portal.
Estimates can also be approved and rejected within the portal. At any point, a client can also access the transaction statement. Through a comment section, clients can discuss a specific invoice or estimate. This prevents long email threads and keeps everything in one place.
Contacts are the backbone of any invoicing system. Zoho Invoice allows existing contact lists to be easily imported or manually added.
Contacts can be added in the Contacts section or on many of the screens within Zoho Invoice. Search lets users quickly find specific contacts. Once the app has been in use for a while, users can see at a glance whether a client has funds outstanding and how much that client has paid each month.
Zoho Invoice provides templates to make invoicing easy. With so many options available, businesses can create professional, unique invoices that accurately match their branding. Templates allow for easy customization, including changing the background, removing columns, and adding logos.
Templates can be chosen both in the desktop and mobile versions of Zoho Invoice. Once an invoice style is chosen, the user can begin inputting information.
Zoho Invoice integrates with a variety of apps for the purposes of making accounting and payment easier. The app integrates with online payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, PayPal Payflow Pro, Braintree, Authorize.Net, and 2Checkout.
It also integrates with Zoho apps like Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects. Zoho Invoice also integrates with a user's existing Gapps account.
There are three plans associated with Zoho Invoice. A free plan allows users to create and send invoices, along with other features, but the free plan is only available for one user and five customers. A standard plan that costs $15 a month is available for 500 customers and three users, while a more robust plan allowing unlimited users and customers is available for $30 per month.
For a small cost savings, businesses can choose an annual plan that costs $150 for standard or $300 for professional.
