Furthermore, the ease of setting up my account was a plus. The ability to have a support person has been a plus. Rep is quick to answer any questions that I might have. Many of my clients work in the software industry and often compliment me on the use of ConSol.
CounSol is all encompassing and provides the HIPAA secure software needed to run my practice. Electronic Health Records, Thorough biopsychosocia intake list, treatment planning, calendar, case notes, billing, and reports. The reports feature alone streamlined supervision hours. The billing feature alone saves hours of work and money because I do not need to hire and outside billing agency.
I am not technology savvy so at first there was a learning curve for me.

I am incredibly pleased with my experience with CounSol. I have always received support from CSR when needed, and I love that there are always updates and improvements. I really love how the system continues to evolve.
I like how easy it is to use and that everything I need is in this one program.
The email feature is probably what I like least. I find that many clients or past clients don't get their messages because it is so much more difficult to log in to see another email, among the many they already receive. So, that is more about the clients than CounSol. Also, not having an attachment feature in the email is not a plus.

I've had a great experience using CounSol and highly recommend it. The Patient Portal is a great way for my clients to register and complete paperwork before their first appointment and provides a secure way for them to contact me. The automatic reminders sent to my clients is a big plus and has dramatically decreased the number of no-show and late cancellations.

I have been using CounSol for almost two years now. I'm not sure why it isn't more popular that it is because it seems to have all the things I need. Because I currently work two jobs I haven't really sat down to keep learning about the software but honestly the more I learn the more I like the program. It is very easy to keep track of your clients, their insurance, copays, and billing. It is a software that I have recommended to many clinicians and will continue to do so as it helps a lot! It takes minutes to do billing. I am spending less time on the computer and more time with my clients which is a big plus!
CounSol helps me run my business so much easier. Billing is made to be so easy which has been a hassle in the past. Also, when I run into an issue, it is to easy to email someone for help and they are very quick with their response to help you fix the issue!
I wish the cost was slightly lower but it is a great software .

The program works amazingly, and I have referred several colleagues already, but the customer service is outstanding as well. I am certain you can find programs that do comparable things, but you will not find another program that has customer service like Counsol.com. I could not have done this on my own with the new learner curves I had just going out on my own in new practice without the help of Jonathan, my support person with Counsol.com. So, between the ease of the program, all the time this program saves me to actually enjoy my free time again as sole provider and owner of my practice and the absolute outstanding customer service, I highly recommend this program to anyone in field!
For someone who runs their own practice by themselves, this has made my job so much easier!!! It's like having a secretary without having one and has given me my free time back to actually enjoy my days off. The clients being able to schedule themselves and connecting my ERA's and Square one accounts is amazing. In just a few short clicks of the mouse, all my payments are registered, it's fantastic. As well as the clients being able to access the portal and enter all their own information makes setting up new clients so much easier!
Nothing, except I wish I would have started with this program versus having to transfer all my clients two years into my practice.

I love the fact that I can use CounSol for all of my needs with my clients; including that we can do video sessions right from the portal and that billing is super easy with CounSol. I spent a great deal of time researching which EHR I wanted to use and settled on CounSol because it has everything I need to do my business in one place.
The occasional glitches during a video session is my least favorite thing but I believe that is often due to my clients Wi-Fi.

I have been using CounSol for about 5 years now and I am really enjoying it. I highly recommend it to any therapist who wants to have it all in one place.
I love that I can easily create my own custom forms for my clients. Online scheduling is great and almost all of my clients use it.
I cannot think of anything at this time.

When I've had issues, the account manager has been ready and willing to help. I've not used all that counsel is capable of, but for my purposes it gets the job done very well. I've recommended it to several cohorts.
Keeping track of my calendar, sending out reminders to clients and providing a way for me to get my paperwork to my clients before our first session.
I have had some issues with clients receiving their reminder that our appointment time is an hour off of what we had scheduled-this could be related to the time zone that client is set for. I also wish I could change the length of time the sessions are for when scheduling (the default time isn't always the time I use, so it can be cumbersome to go back into their specific appointment time to set a different time than the default setting).

I wish it had an accompanying app that allowed me to hand write my notes on my iPad, which would then save to the clients' profiles.

Mostly very good
1. Clients can easily make and cancel appointments. I’m not a bottleneck anymore and my clients can see me with greasier ease. 2. Customer service is great. 3. Easy phone use.
I’d like it if my clients could see my schedule, grab an appointment or cancel and shoot me an email without having to remember their password.

Positive experience overall. This service makes my practice more professional and organized and it increases my client show rate.
Ease of scheduling and reminders that are sent out to clients.
Some of my clients get locked out of the system frequently and report some difficulty with the service on their end.

The customer service offered by my account rep has been prompt and helpful. The rep is super responsive and appreciate his ongoing support.
I value having my financials, my schedule, and my ability to see my clients online all in 1 place.
I work with couples and they are often in separate locations. I'm unable to see my clients together when they are in different locations.

It works great for me, and my clients- keeps everything in one place. Clients can fill out paperwork before hand etc.
It appears fairly outdated, it is not that easy to use or to interpret. Sometimes it's hard for clients to use also- when client's can't also register other family members bc of the same email address it is a huge hassel.

My overall experience with Counsol.com has been positive, they have more features than any other management system, there is flexibility to create your own forms, you can upload pdfs for your clients to support them in between sessions, they can use the journal feature and share with the therapist, and it is user friendly, plus they have great support.

The scheduling of appointments can be a little user-friendly, but then I learned the trick. I think having little videos on different features may help the user. The visual interface can be upgraded more modernized. I would not publicize this, but Therapynotes has a beautiful interface and a very easy-to-use scheduling system, but I prefer the flexibility of features provided by Counsol.com. Such an amazing software, but the telemental health feature needed updating. I stopped using it in favor of Doxyme and Zoom.

Outside of video sessions, it has been a great experience using CounSol.com.
Ease of use and implementation of software is what I like most about this product.
Video conferencing is not the best as I have found that it does not work for most of my clients. I would also appreciate a way to 'hide' the "session" tab from clients since I am using a different platform for video sessions.

I will begin with the cons, just to give a true unbiased review. My clients sometimes find it a bit tedious to sign up and to sign in and schedule. That being said, clients can be in stress and thus, flustered or distracted during these processes. Pro's. Too many to mention though the treatment plans, notes, chat options and video are all big boosts. I also am very happy with the pricing for these...

It's a huge benefit to me to have my entire practice online, no paper ever.
The best thing about using CounSol is that I have a dedicated account manager that is available to me via email or phone to answer questions or deal with issues I have. No submitting a request online and waiting for an email reply.
I would love to see CounSol have an option where I could take notes on forms clients have filled out, using my iPad.

Very easy to work with and helps me focus on the parts of my company I love, and this site helps take care of the details.
The ease for both me and my clients to use it.
The site itself isn't very modern looking. It has a bit of an older look/feel to it.
