I did not find the video feature stable so I need to have separate software for online sessions.

You have to click into each note to see it, meaning it's hard to scroll adn see details.

Some of the other platforms are somewhat less expensive but I am not sure it is worth the trade off because what you save in a few dollars less, you will spend in your time trying to customize your platform and fix your problems in ways that CounSol staff will help you with.

Other platforms expect you to do-it-yourself in terms of creating the forms you want in your EHR.

Not being able to bill through the clearing house for CCBHO, but I realize they are totally different codes that other providers.

The credit card processing was burdensome because of the PCI compliance processes.

The payment system isn't that intuitive and isn't automated.

wish there were more options to customize the biopsychosocial assessment as well as the treatment plans.

The one issue for me thus far, has been the fact that CounSol is only connected with Office Ally to submit insurance claims.  

I wish CounSol would develop the ability to interface with multiple clients at one time via video for the purposes of group or family sessions, and I wish there was an app.

The main payment option that Counsol uses is very shady and put unnecessary charges on my account and their customer service was less than stellar.

Office Ally is now charging providers to submit some claims versus other clearinghouses that do not.

I also really like the option of being able to keep all of my communication with Clients through CounSol and that it is HIPAA secure.

Also, when there are multiple emails from a client and it is necessary to read more than one, the program does not highlight the last email read.

I like my clients receive reminders and I have reminders about treatment plans, etc.  

I can still submit claims but have to pay $35/month if more claims submitted to non-participating vs participating insurances.

I have a customer service person I can email at anytime that I am having an issue and have a question. When I first started, he was getting daily emails as I was learning the software.

Maybe be able to click on sxs or examples of progress and then add a related comment.

CounSol's overall look is outdated and the client portal definitely could use a facelift.

It really allows me to focus more on clinical work rather than administrative tasks.  

The portal is easy to use and directions are concise and direct with screenshots that provide visual aide to those who need it (me!).

I find it cumbersome to create the client forms, internal forms, printed assessments.

The automatic sending of intakes is very smooth.

Clients can also securely journal between sessions, and video for sessions is dependable.

The notes feature has everything readily available at the click of a button.

There are some things about billing and insurance claims that are less intuitive, and if there were more written instructions on how those things work, that would be helpful.

Allow a master code for the client and anytime it changes we can go in to manually change it.
